As much as I enjoyed the Triton, the sounds come nowhere near to those of the Trinity V3. I've been able to replicate some from the iM1 and all I can say is wow!
I might get the Triton cause I love Korg period. But, is it possible to get the Triton on the Module lite version?
Bug using Module devices in Gadget after update: mostly white noise when triggering via MIDI. Anyone else?
I think I read this earlier in the thread but now might realize what was meant- if you send a project to iCloud from iPad and the song used a loop in Bilbao that was copied from another app (in this case diode 108), that doesn't get transferred to the other device? When I open the song on my iPhone, that loop is not sounding.
Cool update for sure, but the features all seem hidden! I'm not going to be able to really mess with it until tomorrow at least.
So I've had gadget on my iPad and module on my iPad. The universal update is great but wish module was universal as well b/c I have this hick up. So I did the remote install and have all the instruments. Only problem I'm having is that Salzburg is only showing sounds 1-24. The Synthology sounds I purchased on iPad module that are in my iPad gadget do not show up in the iPhone gadget. I believe I read that in app purchase don't transfer but not totally sure. Anyone else having this issue. Also I do not have iPhone module. Does it have in app purchases for the additional sounds. And also if anyone has bought the triton expansion on iPad module does that transfer to iPhone gadget or not. Thanks
It's true tha IAP's don't transfer according to the documentation, but it seems to only apply to the large Synthology IAP. I have both the Wurly and TRITON sounds on my iPhone 6s via remote install. And all of the expansion cards for the iM1
I'm not sure about the organ IAP of Module as I don't have that.
True, there was a mention of this on the Korg forum. For now they suggest using iTunes file transfer
They are looking into to a better way.

I REALLY like the new editing functions: pinch to zoom and 1-finger scrolling, it makes editing so much more intuitive. You can still add or delete notes with a tap and when you want to move a note just tap and hold for a second and arrows appear to indicate you can now move it. It was always a problem before when wanting to move a note you instead changed the length because you tapped in the wrong place. Not anymore.
I also noticed the copy function when you have selected a bunch of notes (maybe it was there earlier?) activate it and you can drag copies of the selected notes to where you want them. Great for octave doubling for example.
Good to know they're aware of it, it's not a super important project (nothing is in gadget for me, it's my release to have a little fun and pretend I know how to make electronic music) and the only one where I've tried to use a loop copied like that, so I can wait or work around it.
I did look at that list, it's just not so obvious where things are yet. Big changes though, I'll adapt eventually.

I did try deleting it, but the Audiocopy option remained in Gadget and just did nothing at all
But, as you'll see in another post, I have now found a solution - but thanks anyway
After an extensive googling session (expect a sultry roaming bill) I've concluded that SOMTC must mean The Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime in which case I have to say I stand defeated.
On the gadget front I did download it eventually via some wifi trickery but have to say it won't be changing my musical life a lot (as in: at all). It's good to see all of you raving though. Especially the iPhone wielding commuters.

That was my first guess but switched T and M confused my sunburned brain.
If you are using the audiocopy app, once you have copied your audio check for notifications from audiocopy that need to be acknowledged before the copy will work.

Wanna extend the Pattern from 2>4 or 4>8Bars.....have a gap in my workflow here:
How could you "duplicate" the recorded notes live onthefly! into the new extendend Bars.
If i record notes in a 2BarPattern, and wanna extend these 2Bars Pattern into a 4Bars with the "Function/Bars" the added 2Bars are empty....
so i have to use the FUNCTION > Copy Paste to copy the first notes from Bar1 into Bar3 & Bar2 into Bar4
so i have a (silence) gap here, just wanna have my recorded notes duplicated in the extendend Bars 3&4 to record adhoc new notes in these now 4Bar Pattern.
Is this possible now?
You can copy a bar at a time by long pressing the bar "+" button.

You can actually copy all existing bars in one go that way, press and hold the + then select both bar 1 and 2 and click copy. This is new in 2.0, before you had to first add the bars, then copy one bar at a time.
Why didn't I think to click more than one bar?! Simples...

I've followed the instructions on the Korg website of how to remote install Darwin onto the iPhone version of Gadget but I cannot find remote install in Korg Gadget on my iPhone. Please advise.
Canada, but it is British Columbia and we have the queen on our money, so kinda. I am probably another birthday or xmas away from getting one though... I got the Circuit with birthday/xmas money... 41 and I still have to pinch and plan like a teenager... thanks Obama... oh wait I'm Canadian, thanks whoever is Canadian president.
Make sure both devices are on the same version of iOS (preferably 9.2.1), both signed in to the same iCloud account, both on the same wifi network. Force quit the app on both devices, start it on the iPad, then the iPhone, go to the gadget list on the iPhone and click on Darwin - the connect option should appear.
At least that's what worked for me.
I have set everything up correctly but I think the problem is that I have iOS 9.0 on my iPhone 6S Plus and iOS 9.2.1 on my iPad Air 2 and that's why I cannot find the remore install button. I would update my iPhone to iOS 9.2.1but I don't want to lose the jailbreak.
I had to give up on remote installing Darwin despite fulfilling every rule. Tried everything I can think of. Hopefully the next time they update Gadget, or the next time they update ios, the issue will fix itself.
Now I have a new glitch though: I was using the pasteboard to bring wav samples from Audioshare into a kit in Bilbao yesterday. Worked great, sounded great. Last night I accepted the most recent update for iDS-10. Today I went to continue assembling that Bilbao kit but now iDS-10 is interfering with copying processes.
If I copy a wav in Audioshare to the General Pasteboard, then hop over to Gadget/Bilbao and ask it to import from pasteboard, what I get instead is "Gadget wants to open iDS-10". If I say yes, iDS-10 opens and nothing happens (back in Gadget, the pasteboard is now empty). If I say no, nothing happens.
If I copy a wav in Audioshare to "Audio Copy 2", I get "Audioshare wants to open iDS-10", with similar useless results.
Basically it's like the problem people are describing with AudioCopy intruding, except it's iDS-10 acting as the intruder.
This only started happening after allowing the most recent update of iDS-10...
Is there a way to get the musical things I load into each track in Gadget full screen? Just curious. HAven't had time to browse the manual yet.
I bought the two expansion packs, and now I am wondering. Should I buy Module on sale for 20.00 or get im1 for $30.00....hmmmm
Is it what I am seeing that Module is Piano style songs in the base app? and im1 is more Synthy sounding?
Gadget is the best app I never knew I needed to have. lol....
It is a thing unto itself, that's for sure....as for Module/iM1. Have both and like both. Your general instinct as to piano-ey vs synthy-of-a-certain-era-but-loads-of-patches is about right. I find iM1 useful, but if I had to choose I'd go first with Module as it feels more of an investment in forever. IMHO etc.
