I would love to be able to quick swipe or have a selection arrow to move between gadgets whilst in full screen on iphone.
I've requested something similar over at the Korg Forums.
I personally miss the transport controls when a Gadget is shown in fullscreen and yes swiping left/right between Gadgets would be nice too
Guys excuse if this has been asked but can't seem to find an answer.
How do I send an exact replica of my current iPhone project to the iPad gadget? If I hit the little cloud next to the name of the project it either turns blue or transparent with an up arrow but it doesn't show up on the iPad. Thanks in advance.
It should show up ... eventually. Sometimes it seems to take awhile. I saw this the first time, but then after that projects show up pretty quickly for me. Make sure that iCloud settings are for the same account on each device. (Hint: go to Settings - iCloud - Storage, and make sure KORG Gadget shows up there on each device).
It took me a while to figure it out and get it to work. This is what worked for me: I click the cloud next to the project until it is blue. I then open the project on my device and save it again. Once I opened it and saved it again on the original device it appeared right away on my other device.
So the little cloud needs to be blue? I did both and nothing although in the icloud i do see one of the songs but not the one i actually want on the ipad from the iphone.
@studioAB 's suggestion is probably correct. You probably just need to save the project after turning the cloud icon blue. That probably triggers something in the app to send an update to iCloud.
@Tones4Christ I made it blue then opened it and saved it and it appeared with the blue cloud on my second device. Original device was ipad 4 to ipad mini 3. The files do not appear in my icloud folder though. The blue cloud indicates it is a project being synced in icloud. Making it gray again on your source device makes it disappear on the receiving device so make sure you save it to your ipad when you successfully sync from your iphone, especially if you make changes (and I would give it a different name).
Gadget is just using iCloud to sync between devices, they are not supporting iCloud Drive so you won't see the files in iCloud Drive.
I hope Korg will soon allow us to use iCouldDrive/iOS-Documentpicker to do import&export of everything including projects making it easier to transfer and share projects and other files.
It worked but only once I got home. Maybe my data cell plan had maxed out.
You might also want to check under Cellular settings whether Gadget is enabled for using data.
I'd love a midi out module))
So Gadget lovers... Anyone working on a track for the Kamata contest ?
There's a contest ????
@gonekrazy3000 :
Oh yes there is ^^ (like every summer since release) :
http://www.korg.com/us/products/software/korg_gadget/contest.php
PS : and second category seems pretty interesting : "One Kamata Category = Use one Kamata gadget and one track only. For the tune and sound FX anything goes. Have fun! Even one line jokes are very welcome".
I'm still kinda new to the IOS scene lol. Just joined in April. Atleast I know now there's a gadget contest quite often
The contest isn't that specific about the asteroid remix. Are we restricted to Kamata only ? Or can we use any gadget ? I'd love to completely change the genre of the song.... Atleast being able to use Bilbao or abudhabi could add some nice risers etc....
You can use all you want my friend... but i advice keeping at least one kamata track given the theme of this contest...
