This is why I think it was a good decision to include AudioShare feature in their "minimally viable product" (offloads file management to AS). Works for me, except that I have to input the key and tempo every import and that's a drag.
If you include the tempo in the file name in AS then Blox will recognise it.
Thx for the tip--did not know this and it will prove helpful!
Very sneaky good.
It is quicker- are you seriously stating that from a standing start- in a live broadcast- Saturday night- 10pm on the sports channel....... that all your money would be on the guy importing from Audioshare to be first past the post?......... better get a few beers in............ You might need them!
I am looking at it now thinking of buying. Is it just assembling built in sounds and loops? Can you insert and arrange your own outside(external files I mean) recordings?
I don't get what I do with it.
Thanks! (Hope I didn't ask this already somewhere and forget to check the answers)
You can import your own audio files but there's no way to save them in the app to access again in a future session. Also, you can't access user files through the apps very cool browser
ok i've watched a few videos on youtube and have a better understanding of what is possible. not sure I need this at all so won't be buying now. I have samplr and would rather get deeper into that I think. (I may be wrong in concluding they could have similar uses)
I'd bet that feature will come some day...
The developer has suggested that the 'playability' features of the waveform will become more robust - I think it will become a bit more like Samplr in that way, but have a feeling that it will offer it's own unique spin too.

You can access them- you can copy and paste audio from song to song or session to session- I mentioned this a few posts ago on this thread.
I'll check this out when I get home. So it sounds like you can save sessions and use saved sessions as holding places for user samples?
I think that's the 'for now' ticket.
Thanks @Nathan for the alert on the new packs. They are both excellent.
This app is absolutely USEFUL for so many things.
I just think it is more relative in what a person's "process" is.
Imagine this Launchpad is the Telescope.
Blocs is more the Microscope.
Each illuminate a variety of things. However, depending on one's knowledge base of the solar system or the life cycle of a parasitic cell, the experience varies greatly.
2 different tools for 2 different phylum, all under the same banner.
You had me parasitic cell.
Are you more the host type?
I'm the scourged skin molecules glimpsed only in sunlight yet breathed upon constantly from birth til death's big moment.
Ahhh...I thought we may have met before.
Please add music library import. Please remember the target demographic for your launchpad will probably want to do remixes so this should be a priority please as I'm currently having to use Audioshare to do this and while it's gotten better and easier to trim files, it would be a lot more convenient to do it all within the app.
Also, you probably already know this, but your zoom wave view is the closest I've seen in an iOS app to the clip view in Ableton. If you could add warp markers, damn you could take over that space well ahead of Ableton once they finally decide to do something on IOS.
Lastly, as others have mentioned, please make it easy to transfer to Launchpad (don't forget Iphone import request as well. Mixvibes is creeping up on you guys)
Thanks
Until master export arrives- you can always play your part into Audioshare- then trim it using the 'snap to beat'
Hey All, I can confirm the following:
Here is a sneak peak of slicer...
^ Good News !
@Launchpadforios - Thanks! Great! I had buyer's remorse shortly after buying this, but the more I play with it the more I like it. As features get added I think I'll actually figure out what to do with it.
Great stuff! Love this app.
this looks sic......nice.
I hope these are more than drum pads. Looking for a way to sequence, arpegiate, change individual velocity, pitch, etc, automate into something new...
@Philippe - That would be Egoist.
Ha, yes indeed.

Nice, I'm looking forward to have it Linked. A user bank would be most useful for me.
Thanks!! This rocks!
Please import from music library
