    i have spent a bit of quality time with ruismaker, patterning, and AUM and found it to be easy to use, glitch free, and offers a nice palette of sounds that goes well beyond a simple TR clone.

    Everything is midi (CC) controllable. You can find the midi/parameter guide at the bottom of the website.

    I like it. A lot of 808/909 type sounds. The parameters do a good just of sculpting the sounds. I can't figure out how to save presets. Is there a INIT patch somewhere?

    Yes, preset saving is something the host must provide (until Apple implement persistent global user presets in the AUv3 specs - which has been suggested on their dev forum). AUM does a great job storing user presets already and I expect Cubasis to include it in v2.0

    Hmm...Sounds good indeed, but I have some slow-down while switching from AUM to Modstep, and only one instance of Ruismaker playing...
    Ipad Pro 12 here...

    EDIT : this is related to ALL apps running thru AUM while not connected to any apps, it's NOT a Ruismark issue at all...
    Also while using "High quality" (measurement mode) the sound really degrades a lot !

    I was running it in Cubase so no dice. It's been a while since I've used iOS for music. I'll download AUM and try it out.

    Edit: Wow $18.99 for AUM. That's a lot. People seem to really like it so it might be a killer app.

    I'll have a better look at it tomorrow, but is it possible that AUM reinitializes the plugin if you switch quality settings while playing? I guess buffer settings are changing and those are supposed to be static during use, so it may be reloading/resetting the plugin. I'll look into it.

    I tried again, activate the quality first, same result.
    In fact, the quality seems to be the same, it's just around 4 times softer but the volume meter into AUM still exactly the same !

    Does it sound good in AUM without the high quality setting (normal)? Does the high quality setting make a big difference on other apps? Thanks.

    I've read somewhere that apple drastically improved the review times lately.1-2 days instead of 1-2 weeks :smile:
