The "more" link worked for me too.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here. Latest iOS, iPad Air 2. I'll keep trying.
Dvlmusic i have the Same Problem. No VoxSyn under more.
Whew - man, I thought it was just me going crazy!
Thank you for the new preset!
But also for me it doesn't open in vyrsyn, I tried to open from Dropbox, which I use for importing preset with other app without problems. I don't have the latest os, I have the previous one. Ipadi mini 2.
crazy, have no idea at the moment. Has anyone tried if reinstalling VoxSyn solves this ?
Just tried it - no change
also me, I reinstalled, doesn't work
just got it ....sounds workable
Mmmm...can I do anything?
Yes, updating to the new version
Contains the new preset "Roboter Poly" and includes Preset sharing.
Thank you very much! It works perfectly.
I want to try it with my instrumental jazz/rock band.
Hope not too much feedback issues.
@VirSyn
Wow, and I thought I would be alone with some difficulties, now it's kickin nice! Awesome tool, waited a long time for something like this! However, there are still a few issues:
-The randomizer does barely nothing right now. Should randomize all non-locked params
-It should be possible to lock the FX section as well
-Please enable export from all your synths, not just Tera.
Import from ifunbox would be perfect!
Thanks
I'm having great fun with VoxSyn. Just came here to check any developments and find one of my questions answered. Vizavi the ability to share presets.
Haaaaaaaas anyone out there saved any custom presets? I'm trying to create a voice closest as possible to the 'go-to' voicebox sound we hear aaallll over the place (California Love - Tupac, 24k magic - Bruno Mars).
I'm away from my desk right now... There is one preset in the top 10 which is pretty close (you can hear a good mix of real voice and 'effected voice' when you play it), but iirc it sounded a bit scratchy. What makes the voices on those tracks so sweet IMO is the cleanness and vibrato (given by the vocalist). -
-the way I try and achieve more of the vibrato when I sing is to dial up the original voice in the app's mixer, but I think this inherently reduces the robotic / effected voice as you sing. So does anyone have any presets shared? or... any tips for me? Its probably something I could work out given the time its just sometimes easier to ask/communicate.
Thx.
This sounds like a great challenge! I would love the sound of California Love voicebox, though honestly no matter what there is no hiding the way you sound, it seems to always sound like myself when singing/talking through no matter how much I try to mangle it.
Anyway I'm definitely interested in any presets!
Hey guys, just in case anyone who previously showed interest in trying to create a California Love style sound is reading... No I haven't found a good config for that yet! Sorry!
No I came here to ask a question to the developer:
@VirSyn I need some advice on a gadget. It's called the 'M-Audio Keystation 49i'. It has a mic input and a midi output on it (built in audio interface!).
What I'm trying to find out is whether I could use this with VoxSyn? (Using voice from mic as input, and keyboard as note selector ---> out to the iPad.
Would VoxSyn play well with this setup? I didn't know if there was something particular about the arrangement of the way VoxSyn handles the peripherals (mic, keys) I'm order to work.
Thanks if you're able to help!
Kin regards.
Here is the keyboard I'm talking about
(I forgot to add a link in my last post)

I think if you connect it to iPad with camera lighting adapter through USB, and the keyboard with its own power supply, it will work good!
Thanks for your input hrestov.
@VirSyn
No-one else has been able to.help with my query unfortunately this far. As the developer.. i thought i might possibly be able to advise.
My posts tend to be a bit detailed so I'll chop it down a bit.
I have my eye on a midi keyboard by M-audio. It has midi out (which i will connect to Apple camera connection kit), but it also has MIC IN. This sounds ideal to me as a setup for use with VoxSyn.
Though i don't expect you have tested this exact setup, do u have any idea briefly whether it would work?
(ie voice thru a mic into the MIC in, play midi hard keys on keyboard with VoxSyn open and have it all work as you'd hope)
Very many kind regards.
This is the product in question:

With VoxSyn you have the option of setting it to either follow the MIDI notes it receives or to have VoxSyn analyze the incoming audio to determine the notes to play, both or neither.
As to whether or not this specific piece of hardware will work with iOS depends upon whether or not it is USB class compliant and can work without needing drivers. Since it came out in 2012, I'm not too sure it is and would definitely verify this before purchase.
Thanks.
I knew the first bit (about following midi, voice, or both).
I guess my best bet is to try it out when I meet the seller. Thanks.!
I've been running troublemaker through VoxSyn. Insane.
I'd love to bite on that sausage Captain. How are you setting it up exactly?
Whats up with voxsyn and its input levels? I cant seem to get it to behave. It will be quiet as a mouse and then all the sudden spike in volume. I am this close to returning it but really love it when it works, any suggestions wise ones?
I'm Coming back to this thread after 5 months...
Scenario, i am BAD at playing complicated chords. -so i have used Chordian to play certain chords at the tap of a button.
1) ----------------- Now, is there any way to send those chords to VoxSyn , combine that with your voice for some result. Anyone know if that's possible?
In this scenario, the Chordian app is in focus and I'm using that to play, (i am not on the VoxSyn screen/UI).
Hope that make sense.
Last thing, I still want to achieve vibrato while singing.
From what i understand, VoxSyn prefers to stick to a certain note. When you play a note via midi (keys), it sticks to that note. But i am wanting to get something more like a talkbox, where you can utter vibrato with your voice and hear the effect in VoxSyn.
------the only way I've been able to achieve this so far is to increase the volume of the natural/unaffected voice portion of the sound. So that it effectively drowns out the 'effected voice' (ie the one with the effect on it; Roboter etc (presets)).
-----VoxSyn will not allow me to use the hardware modulation wheel on my keyboard to make the effect, so that option is no go.
2) ---is it possible to do what I'm trying to achieve?
(If my explanation isn't clear enough), the opening voice/line on Tupac's 'California Love' is a perfect demonstration).
That is performed with a talkbox, a la Roger Troutman. Since a vocoder is a different technology, I believe the only way to truly get the sound you're looking for is with a talkbox.
Can anyone advise if this is possible?
In VoxSyn you can set the app to respond to the audio input for deciding which notes to trigger, respond to MIDI input for triggering notes or both. The transformation of the input audio is highly dependent upon the audio source and the preset you use in VoxSyn.
Hey reader,
I return to this thread again (months later!)
@VirSyn (or anyone) I'm considering buying a Behringer 404 audio interface.
It's got 4 line inputs and 2 midi ports at the back. I want to buy it so I can: plug in an xlr mic PLUS my midi keyboard to the back and use that setup in VoxSyn (to sing into, and control with midi keyboard).
Before I spend ~£100 I need to ask, do I already have what I need to do that job?
I already own an iRig Midi2. It features 3 midi ports.: MIDI IN, THRU, and OUT.
Does anyone know if I can achieve what I want by say... plugging a MIDI mic into the THRU port on this box?
-second question: would a MIDI mic be greater or lesser sound quality than a traditional XLR mic?
Kind regards.

If anyone can help I'd sure appreciate it!- the window of opportunity on this Behringer404 is closing soon!
What in the world is a midi Mike ?
