  • There's a solo/mute off switch on the master fader - isn't that new?

Wohoo, glad i got some store credit left...
Now we only need 'Time-Line Mode', 'Audiotracks' and a fully featured 'Sampler Gadget' to turn Gadget into a proper DAW :)

to be fair if they just increased the max length of the samples in bilbao we would already have a sampler gadget.....

Well.. It would be nice to play one sample(s) across the keyboard like transposable 'instruments' with pitch, amp and filter envelopes together with modulation and effects...

To me samplers are more than just for triggering drums, fx and loops at preset pitches :)

Gadget already has 'track freeze' which could be used for re-sampling if it was possible to send the frozen track to say bilbao, abu dhabi or via open in.. to other apps or even a new 'Sampler Gadget' :)

  • I'll gladly pay $9.99 each for these Gadgets. They are always top notch. Plus, at this point KORG has earned my money. The continued development of Gadget, plus the fact that they've made Gadget, Module, and DS-10 universal for free is overlooked.

makes too much sense... hopefully they hear you, preferably before christmas

  • Furthermore, KORG iM1 for iPad has had a minor upgrade, with Library Cards 3 & 4 added. Through linking with the KORG Gadget you can use even more user programs.

  • It seems it wouldn’t be difficult to add an audio file player like AUM has, or a conventional sampler, but as time goes by, that, apparently, is not Korg’s vision of the app. I really like it and use what it offers. One of my best investments in iOS music making.

+1 Terrific updates and exciting future prospects. I love what Korg is doing for iOS.

Awesome, the wavetable drawing. Can draw your own!

It is not really chiptune gadget.

I am so happy with these 3 new gadgets and effects.

  • Looks like there is no iElectribe for iphone in the store

I guess this is 32 lines of wave amplitudes for spectrum scanning.

I dunno, but this gadget has different sounds to any of the gadget.

    Very unique of its own.

  • Loving the overall tweaks and the new effects but I can't say I'm stunned by the new gadgets. Guess because I'm not into acoustic emulations. I'm getting Kamata to support further development though :)

Seems it was there before, so not new - have anyone found other improvements or new features?

How about Madrid? I love it so much. If you dislike it which is very Ok for me?

Even the Cyclop can not deliver that oomph.

  • I'm loving the 'retro-sound' of Kamata but coming from SID back-ground i miss chaining wave-changes into a sequence (Noise, Square, Noise, Tri, Noise, Saw loop just as an example also possible to do with Square Synth).

I also love the sound of drawing/changing the wave in realtime, and yepp, it's possible to automate that with Kamata :D (I'll try recording wave-changes into a sequence after I finish my breakfast haha).

From the demo within gadget it seems like it is a bass guitar emulator.

    I am a bass guitarist ;)

Heavier from real test, I was not impressed by the demo.

Held my chess for this satisfied babe.

Without it ... Gadget can not be outperforming dance music producing app.

  • Bought everything except the "80's piano" in Module (I figure iM1 can supply most of that, so not spending $10 there). I was on the fence about KAMATA, but I like my Gadget to be "complete" so I got that too (we'll see how much use it gets, I've only used KINGSTON a few times).

Anyway, nice to see continued development. It seems like a sustainable business model for KORG to keep expanding with new gadgets (and it's always nice with new toys  ). However, I'm still angry that they have not yet fulfilled their promise of Audio Tracks 2 1/2 years after release. :-1:

  • Gladstone kits 16-20 are cool. Love the reverb.

  • Has anyone figured out where the new mellotron patches from Module show up in Gadget?

  • So Happy... ! I cannot talk !
    Thanks Korg :-)

Ok, those belong to slap guitar bass. Good to let users know them.

Wondering one thing... Many bass guitarists live in Madrid?

    Glasgow :)

  • Oops, found them in Glasgow 132 onwards

Hey Kaikoo2. They are drum kits in Gladstone. Some interesting percussion going on in presets 16-20. I like the. Cave kit the best. Nice samples.

Well it's always exciting to get new gadgets from Korg. Last year around this time we were playing with the M1.

  • Now I can't wait for the Korg Remix Contest #3... Hope there will be one this summer too ;-)
