  • Review by the German Tim Webb for those of you on the fence

  • George (The Gentleman Rocker) is adorable. Could totally bring him home to mum :)

  • Downloaded Gadget again after iSpark disappointment...

What is up with the knobs??? They seem especially fidgety, either way too slow or way too fast. Makes adjustments a pain.

Running it on a Pro with the latest iOS.

Double tap on the gadget and it will go full screen. Makes it easier to deal with the knobs.

I had that on my mini2 a couple updates ago but it went away after the next update.

  • Yes, Gadgets 'knobs' can be a bit fiddly.

I tend to do coarse value changes with 'long swipe up/down'(ie. touch'n'drag) and after the value is close I do 'short swipes up/down' just by barely touching the knob. I've yet to discover all the 'shortcuts' available in Gadget especially the 'Long Tap' which sometimes resets parameters to defaults and sometimes brings up extra options...

Sometimes I wish Gadget had an option to bring up a 'big' value-slider(ie. tap a knob to bring up the slider) for precise parameter edits.

Yeah like in ids-10. Love the sliders on that

  • I find that the knobs in the mixer page (fx knobs) are definitely sticky. More so if there's lots of midi on lots of tracks playing.

Might be a memory bug or something to do with the animation overhead.

The knobs inside the gadgets are mostly pretty smooth.

    I think it's a memory thing.
