Korg Prophecy with re-imagined touch-interface for controlling multiple parameters etc. would be a real boon too![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
An arranger Gadget would be so awesome to get quick song ideas going would be awesome!
I'll second that!
I had one of those back in the day, it did great wind and sax sounds, but i remember it being a bit of a bugger to programme, so I sold it.
Oh, heck yes! Sign me up for that! IPa800?
It's kind of strange that iWavestation has this pre-release hype, albeit from a single source instance.
Everything else Korg has done on iOS has been dropped in an instant and with no prior buzz.
Who else remembers the early early days of Audiobus when Korg released updates of their flagship apps all with Audiobus integrated. I think that took even Michael & Sebastian by surprise.
We've not had any pre-release hype for any of the iAP Gadgets or Standalone apps.
In fact, total-surprise seems to be Korg's M-O.
I believe iWavestation is coming, I'm just wondering what the Korg peeps are making of our relish for its release.
Yeah, I remember iM1 appearing in the App Store out of blue last year and there was no word about that coming to iOS months, weeks or even days before it's release. Same with Korg's remake of the Arp Odyssey and other classic synth releases on iOS.
I also believe iWavestation will be released. I am hoping it will be released any time now as Korg are good at those surprised out of the blue releases or at least in December considering the Korg guy predicted it would be the end of the year. However I have this feeling that the release will be held back until the new year.
Yes your right........ Maybe it will be announced at next years 2017 NAMM show? ......
Can't wait to use it with touch interface.
This add from 1990 turned out prophetic

Wow that brings memories man! I remember the Korg Trinity ad also wow !

I still say my Yamaha MX 49 v2 is an iOS powerhouse as a controller , as well as some of the Yamaha apps like mobile music sequencer and chord tracker . The action on the MX v2 is unbeatable. That said , Korg is the one to beat!
Didn't bother with Arp Odyssei and not sure if I should snag it or not, but the infamous vectoral synth is a must for me.
Same with me..
@nrgb thanks for posting - cash waiting![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Looks good!

Linkee? Can't see it here yet in the somewhat great state of Texas.
Wrong thread!!!!!
Sorry. (It was for the beathawk thread)
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
You mean the big update?! Because that isn't here yet either.. double fail![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/neutral.png)
Wait, Beathawk is here?
I think this guy is just trolling
like a pro though
Looks and sounds like this one will be a winner. The VST version is a nightmare to try and program, so the touchscreen improvements are more than welcome.
This looks great. I wonder if the iWavestation will have a resonant filter as a resonant filter was absent on the original Wavestation but present on the Legacy Collection software version.
Yo Samu, made me LMAO with this one man... You're so right.
But it makes me wish Korg would had an IAA loop recorder (with overdub function) as they tried to do in Tabletop... This would be a simple way to open the app to audio recordings while keeping the patern based approache IMHO.
Peace.
Grego.
I hope it has 4 outputs and is the AD-version..
Who knows, maybe we'll see an integrated IAA-Instrument/Generator 'sampler' some day because I seriously hope we will get support for user-samples in the upcoming iWavestation (This is not possible with the current Legacy Wavestation though).
I mean I do like the way it's possible to 'export to iTunes' and have the sounds pop-up in Bilbao and Abu-Dhabi but I wish there was a way to select what scenes to export, now it's all or nothing. (But now way to export from the iTunes folder without using the computer, Open In... and/or 'Share Sheet' would be nice here).
Yes please.
Most likely since the Wavestation in Korg Legacy Collection already has a resonant filter.
It's gong to be interesting to see how much smoother the editing process will be compared to Legacy Collection Wavestation which was already a huge improvement over the original hardware.
From the looks of it iWavestation will be even easier to use than say the Kronos.
I doubt Korg will add the option to use user samples.
On the subject of the Kronos, a guy on the Korg forums recreated the factory ROMs from the Wavestation for the Kronos. I recently downloaded them and put them on my Kronos and it is awesome. The sounds are exactly like the Wavestation with classic patches such as Ski Jam, Guardians and Wave Song and so on.
Back to the iWavestation, I am really looking forward to this but I have a feeling it won't get released until after the new year as Korg has a holiday sale on at the moment which lasts until 5th January 2017.
