  • I've installed iWavestation and it does support Audiobus and IAA :) so obviously whoever wrote the info on the App Store forgot to mention that it supports IAA and Audiobus. :)

  • ok it's an IAA instrument with transport controls :)

  • Also supports Audiobus :)

I play guitar a lot more than keys

Been reading your posts for a long while now and, I guess because of your username, I'd always assumed the opposite was true.

I purchased the Triton to make backing tracks for guitar :D it got me hooked on keys though.

  • IAP is for an expansion card £3.99 which adds 350 performances, 245 patches and more.

Having a quick play. If you liked iM1 you'd like this I think :)

  • Good to know it has AB and IAA. Hard to believe they left that out of the description.

Interoperable with the original wave station according to the App Store.

Yeah I wonder what that is newspeak for ?

  • Oops, too fast. Wrong link... :'(

  • Another good thing about iWavestation is that it supports original Wavestation sysex as well as sysex from the Legacy Collection version.

  • Boy, when they said immenent they weren't kidding!

On first impressions it's very similar to iM1, but I think I prefer the sound of iM1 (subjective opinion). This sounds a trifle too cheesy to me, whereas the iM1 somehow didn't.

Maybe if I dig a little deeper I will find more sounds to like, there's enough of them.

Can you send sysex from the iWavestation TO the original hardware ?
Or export banks in sysex format at all ?

  • Hardware... sysex... interoperable... all very good words for me but waiting on the manual (or feedback from another WS hardware owner) to see what they all actually mean.

Yes you can send sysex from the iWavestation to the original hardware as there is an export function too.

Oh good, perhaps I can remain strong and keep on waiting for drum sessions release if No one puts up any video reviews of this prior to drum sessions release. :#

Not ideal but this does have IAA. It shows up in AUM.

I suspect Gadget will come after the fact like they did with iM1.

As far as I remember iM1 was Gadget integrated from the start. iMS20 og iPolysix are still not in Gadget so I don't have high hopes for this one, when it's not mentioned at all :-(

Well, no money from me to KORG this time then, as I'm 100% invested in Gadget.

  • iWavetstation Gadget is here :)
