  • I will however name every one of my next free sound packs I do for whatever synth, after sex related activities or body parts :p

  • I'm not offended with the word sex. What "offends" me is that the whole thing looks like a toy. Why is a gimmick needed to sell it? Great sounding au app is enough of a gimmick. Then make it look like a pro instrument. My snobby friends think that model 15 must be a toy, and look at it. Beautiful.

Anyhoo. I've only been around for a few months but the first troll-like situation i found on here was patrick's gadget post, in which he was clearly pushing buttons, then he went on another rant on some other thread, which i lightened up by joking about him kicking someone out of his thread, then here.

Let's tap glass not push buttons.

  • Seriously people, grow up and don't be such prudes.

This discussion about if an app can have a 'sex' button ends here. It can. Nobody is getting abused by it.

    Besides, it's a beautiful app.

  • I read the other thread...anyone who posts articles about why "your intentions don't matter" can get into the sea.

    Like, right into the ocean.

  • I so wanted to post a pic of myself naked with just the app hiding my modesty lol ;)

Is that bluff called or buff called? :p

God help us, what's happening to this lovely forum, when did it become so frigging cold hearted?

Because if you stop to think about it logically, one of our longest-standing members and mates was booted out in favour of somebody else's unpopular feelings. It seems that nobody cared about Patric's feelings nor how the rest of our morale would be brought down by losing Patric.

For real? :p Well, don't be surprised if the majority of us hold you to it. Don't cash the check if the money isn't in the bank mate.

I don't care if a dev has a naked person on the app and calls it Big Cock Synth or Fanny Strings as long as it sounds good. I can also understand some have other opinions. I can however see why some are pissed off that when some scream fowl and then claim anyone supporting it is in some way deviant.

Yes, the quality of an app, how it sounds, is paramount. The rest is fluff.

As for the back and forth argument concerning who is offended, etc, ISTM reasonable for anyone to express offence, if that is what they feel. But trying to build that into a vitriolic, spurious and misleading slur cannot go without reply.

As far as I could see, Patric was trying to put the alternate view to that, and was silenced. :/

Not an example of what this app can do despite it's dodgy wrapper, but more an example of what it can do after ten minutes in the hands of a clumsy fool.

That's cool. I think I'm going to buy this one. IAA is fine with me until the reported AU issues get sorted.

    Thanks for the track! :)
