Ok. Have been informed you press record. How utterly unintuitive .
Btw it would be really nice to be able to audition what you recorded without having to save it first. How it currently works is bit silly and just leads to either having to constantly delete stuff, or ipad filled with unusable loops.
There no virtual midi port created from BeatHawk ,nor any setting for Midi Out inside the app. So I assume it's not possible.
Export Issue
I reproduced the issue of the empty folder, it is due to the "*" on the folder name. I will be fixed in the next version. You messages helped a lot. Thank you!
Meanwhile you can save the project so "*" will disappear and then export again.
FYI: "*" means that the project were opened automatically, I'll remove that, its was not very straight forward anyway.
DropBox Issue
iCloud is provided by Apple. It seems to be a known issue.

iCloud - Export Folders
We do not implement exporting folders but I'll add "Zip Folder" option so you can export what you like in 2 touchs.
Alongside, I'll do Unzip File too.
iTunes - File Sharing
In order to support AUv3 we had to use "App Group", which means that we do not use Document Folder anymore but a shared folder hidden somewhere.
I will consider adding an option to copy a file in the Documents.
Note: Each time BH starts it scans the document folder and moves its content to the "App Group", so you can drop your files there if you like.
Midi Out
Not available yet, on my TODO list though.
AU Issue

Imported my sounds to BH pads and they sounds as loops while they're one shots. I can't figure out how to change then in the edit panel. Am I missing something?
And I think every (ios) developer would really appreciate it if not being bugged with sale requests right after releasing a massive and FREE update.Just sayin...
Where's the enable midi learn option? And enabling means I can draw automation for the built in sounds, albeit with their limited parameters?
click the menu from next to session name on the top of the screen and select midi learn. However it doesent seem to be able to map nearly anything, at least nothing useful for me
Yeah looks like a excercise in tedium for an otherwise fluid app. Took me all of two seconds to find enable, poke around, and go naaahh
What do you mean by "they sounds as loops?" Does the sound loop continuously when you trigger the pad?
What is it that you want to change?

Please if possible in the future expose the AUv3 parameters so they can be controlled by midi in AUM for example.
Cannot import sound via Audiocopy an AIFF file .
I don't have the Audiocopy spam app but I tried with AudioShare -> Audiocopy and it sounds garbage (16 bit stereo AIFF file) .
Working with wav file but the file is renamed to useless "pasteboard " name
iCloud importing works straight with AudioShare ! But only wav files.
So something is wrong for aiff file type...
Nothing wrong with asking since the packs have been discounted when the app was on sale in the past as I understand. Also, it's not a free update for everyone. For myself I just bought the app.

Thanks for your response @BastienCo. Regarding the Dropbox issue, iCloud works fine for me. The issue is with Dropbox. While I can import from Dropbox, I cannot export to it. It gives me all the options to select a folder to save but nothing actually gets saved to Dropbox.
Actually I have to press and hold the pad to trigger the sounds entirely which is not big deal for drums. I just want to use my own drums, trigger them with one shot each (not hold is neccesary)
Seems to me that the problem is that UVI is not supporting Dropbox directly, but is trying to somehow piggyback on iCloud to get to Dropbox. In most apps that support Dropbox, there is an "Export to Dropbox" buttton proper, and the app then creates a folder for itself within the Apps folder on Dropbox. There is no Beathawk folder created in Dropbox, so maybe that is part of the problem. I've never seen another app that does Dropbox export this way (Dropbox within an iCloud shell). Perhaps the answer is to support Dropbox directly?
There is an option for one shot or not, but for some reason i dont see it on your screen shot(should be next to choke groups). Dunno if its a bug or if it just doesent work with loops(also dunno why they come like that), havent looked into this app too much yet.
What ToMess said. Not sure if the missing ONE-SHOT button is a bug or it has something to do with sample length or file type.
Thanks @ToMess @telecharge The sounds are drum kits (.wav) unusable at this point.
What is the length of that snare sound in your screenshot? If you want to troubleshoot, you could try a longer sample or a different file format to see if the ONE-SHOT button displays.

How am i supposed to export the stems from my project? Bh site says that go to browser - user library and select them from there. However my project folder is emty, even tho i just saved my project. So i can only see what i recorded in, not what i have done in bh..
Is this a bug or wtf am i supposed to do to export all stems from the project?

And apparently this thing cant even sync with blocs so that i could record there and then export.. It simply wont start recording at the correct time, it always either starts too early or too late and blocs waits for some seemingly random time to start recording, which is on beat, but never ever on the 1st beat. Cutting every loop is just something i dont care to do enough to use this app, but rather use something that works.
Im starting to feel like calling it quits with this app..
Seems like they released this too early because of the fear of beatmaker taking all their potential customers.

It seems that the 24 bits samples doesn't fix well in BH. Converting at 16 bits work as expected. Thank you very much.
Anyone figured out how to get Bloc Waves files to import as 'loops', so it can do auto timestretch?
Did an import of some 'Acid' wav files and they looped perfect.... brings out the magic of BH2.. If only we can get Bloc to loop (auto timestretch).. it will be great.
