Mono/Poly?!
Expensive. No more money for you Gadget.
How much? Not gonna update just yet
Just a Gadget or standalone too?
I'm hesitant about Korg from now on I'm more into AUv3 compatible.
And, hey, Rabelais and Nostradamus both went to school there.
Standalone as well. 20 bucks. Looks VERY like polysix...
They are all good quality but feel they all need updates too, still waiting for Link for most of them etc. will probably wait for a sale on this
This is the sale price.
yes, even more of a sale
Polysix and Mono/Poly were relatives on some level. I had a Mono and wanted a Poly. Never happened...
28$ CAD and that is 33% off. Annoying how it should actually be $25 given the dollar difference between US and Canada. Another reason to bail on this whole iOS music app store BS... am I right guys? Am I right? I'm so right guys.
The demos sound like the same thin tinny cornball 80s Mike Post Punky Brewster screws Alf crap Korg has been... crapping out on iOS. Ugh, I need sleep.
And another thing... zzzzzz
Maybe they spelled it wrong...

Bought it. Didn't listen to any stinking demos. And paid the extra IAP five dollars for the extra factory bank of extra. Never heard of this Mister Brewster. Promised myself long ago that I didn't have a completionist problem because of, well, you know, Kamata, so that's good.
Kamata is glorious I tells you!! With no shits or nots!
I look forward to comparisons with ipolysix along with an accompanying annotated spreadsheet in favour or against having both
I know it's a vintage synth but it does seem very vintage ios with no Link or AUv3, I hope Korg up their game with IOS 11...
You know you wanna kamata...
I have the Mono/Poly for Reason but have never really spent much time programming it due to it being a bit weird. I had the same issue with the Arp 2600 V, but once I had the (related) ODYSSEi on the iPad I found it really easy to get stuck in to the programming (and consequently came to love the Arp vision). Tempting to get this, if it will have the same effect on me.
I sure am glad I didn't buy iPolySix during there recent sale. I'm all over this one.
Dang it. Why couldn't it have been released tomorrow right after I get paid from my gig? So, $25 USD for the kit and kaboodle? Not sure about the sound of the synth yet, because Korg's lackluster demo is dogshit. However, if that mod matrix is anything to go by, I think Montpellier and I are gonna get on like two old friends just fine.
@thesoundtestroom @jakoB_haQ Seriously mates. Korg's demo for Montpellier sucks. Can't wait to see what you guys do with it.
Cheers.
I'm curious as to the differences as well. Of course, I'll be buying Mono/Poly, as the lack of Gadget integration was what held me back from iPolySix. This will only feed the flames of people asking for MS-20 inside Gadget as well...
It is like an Amiga making sweet love to an Atari ST.
And still no Kaoss pads in gadget. PASS
Very interested in this one, wish there were some demos or something so I could hear it first....
I had a "real" Mono/Poly. So far, so good. Get the arp going then start tweaking stuff. Sweet..
Okay, I really did laugh out loud!
Agree the voodoo math they pull off in the Canuck store is questionable
