@samu maybe you can answer my question, if I update to 11 and some apps that I own are 32 bit but become 64 at a later date will I be able to use them? Or is it once you update anything that isn't 64 at the time is done? Sorry if it's a dumb question..

The 32-bit app remains on the device but can not be launched before it is updated...

    Thank u @Samu

  • Midi out is a blast... Shows up as a midi device (with Modstep on test) on desktop DAW.. Seems to have little or no latency. (FLS and Win10)... Wow..

  • All seems pretty smooth so far on my backup device. Where is the screen recording located?

  • Very happy so far on iPad 2017 with 128Gb.
Just tried screen recording; very slick!
You have to add the button to Control centre from settings - control centre - customise .
Only app not working is sessionband so no loss there.

  • Haha, it works, ultra smooth. Auria Pro is running like a RollsRoyce engine.

But I HATE THE NEW APPSTORE. Looks like I’ve come to Las Vegas from Adelaide, Australia

    Ouch.

just reinstalled all the Session Bands I thought might be useful in one way or another as I also have enough space now (iPad 2017, 128 GB)

  • Update was smooth, my main music apps are running fine. I'm happy so far. Tomorrow I'll test bluetooth MIDI.

    Air2 updating now

Definitely would like to hear how it runs for you, I'm on an AIr2 as well but not updating until I hear some feedback, thank you for your bravery, lol.

  • Anyone have Samplr up and running smoothly on 11 yet?

  • Anyway of changing the count in time on screen recording to a longer length. For making app videos it doesn’t give you a long lead in to open!

  • I emailed Apple and they updated me to iOS 12. See ya suckas!

    Dun de dun dun dun....

  • Hmm. No wish list. Oh dear, that will mean I forget stuff I have a vague interest in, and not buy it.

Otherwise, no huge problems in the first hour. Some things I like, other things, not so sure.

Works just as well as it did under iOS10...

Yeah, I’m looking for that, too.

    EDIT

    Here -

    https://idropnews.com/ios-11/use-screen-recording-feature-ios-11/42420/

Just tested this with Wizzj, and it seems to work very smoothly for video. Not sure yet how capable it is with sound. Will try that on the morrow.

    Ok, I'm in....

  • anybody brave enough with an Air 1 to update? Let me know, I guess I could take the plunge for you guys.

  • Screen recording is pretty slick, though I am noticing that audio is not being recorded with some apps. For instance, LayR recordings have audio, but Zeeon (standalone) recordings have no audio. Not quite sure what that is about......?

  • After only a few seconds play got a bug, not a biggie, swiping up for notifications, settings etc. The overlaying graphics are usually displayed over the diffused springboard but sometimes the blurring effect is absent. iPad Pro 10.5.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • I noticed AudioShare shows up in the folders app but doesn’t open when you select it. Obviously waiting on it to be updated.

  • Has anyone achieved any drag and drop as yet with any apps.

But can it be reinstalled after you deinstalled it?

Yes, you can re-download the app but there's a warning that it will not work unless updated.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I am looking forward to trying it out. And the Files app thing, and the new app switching thing.

I'm keeping that as an iOS 10 machine. :-(. Good luck.

  • Still getting crazy latency in cubasis so far, even worse than before I think
    Also in beathawk

For everything non music related is amazing though lol
Actually playing some synth apps standalone seems to work fine so far

Starting to think a batch of these new 10.5 pros are cursed
No more early adopting new tech for me
