Looks like all the DDMF apps are on sale for $4.99 each instead of $8.99. They’re all AUv3, universal, and ported from desktop.

I literally just got the reverb yesterday before it went on sale because none of the DDMF apps have ever been on sale before!

I got the 6144 equalizer and NYCompressor over a month ago and have no regrets at full price for those two. The EQ’s getting a lot of use.

Has anybody had the DirectionalEQ for a while? And if so, any thoughts? It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of a sale, but I’m wondering what life’s like after the honeymoon’s over... Essential tool? Mildly interesting gimmick? Pointless diversion? I fear it’s the ice cream maker of apps, when I’m really looking for a good toaster.

  • DDMF apps are not on sale in Australia

    Neither are Numerical Audio Apps

What they got against Aussies ? !

Thank you, I don’t doubt it.

It’s back to full price now, so I will do my best to be sensible and only jump in if I absolutely have to do some directional EQing.

Weird. Still on sale here in Texas. Decided to nab it. As good as I’m sure they all are, based on many credible accolades, this particular directional one seems very unique in this space.

I watched one 2014 video of the vst version from some protools guru, who sounded fairly impressed with what it’s capable of.

Oh. Then why get the audio import iap in lp?
Glad it was on sale then.

I bought it before ampify make the update and it’s ok to me but nowadays I see BlocsWave as Launchpad feed.

The only bummer about that is the inability to unlink a launchpad project once it’s imported. I really don’t like being forced to go back to blocs then refresh every time I want to make a small change. I’d like to be able to optionally untether it at some point. The developers weren’t at all interested in that idea when I proposed it.

More than the England/Wales/SA cricket team it appears.

(Pom in Oz btw. ;) )

  • Yeah @TheVimFuego they are just jealous, over in the northern hemisphere they are freezing their butts off and I just been for a nice swim on another hot glorious day!!

  • I am one of those South African folks now in the Northern USA shivering from the cold. Wish I had the warmer weather:) Lekker.

Ravenscroft 275 shows on sale on the main website at 30% off. When going to the App Store it shows $35.99. Is this with the sales price included? Not sure if it normally sells in the $50 range. Can you please confirm?

Anyone else have this piano? Your thoughts?

Totally worth the full price. I think the desktop version is 30% off (I can’t see the current price in the iOS App Store because I already have the app and it just says “open”).

EDIT: I know I didn’t pay $50 but it was close to $40 so $36 sounds like the regular non-sale price.

Aye, pool has been assembled (metal frame overground jobbie) and now watching the storms roll over. Queensland, beautiful one day, trying to kill you the next. :D

What the heck...they (DDMF apps) went off sale already?! I was contemplating all 5, but now...

Edit: I wrote a note to the Dev to see if they can reinstate the sale as all of their announcements state it should have gone through the new year.

Edit 2: Christian wrote back and said it was a “technical error” and should be back up until midnight. Not seeing it yet myself (US) but maybe in the morning...

  • Mazetools Soniface is currently available for $9.99 in the US App Store or for $13.99 in the Canadian App Store.
Mazetools Soniface by Ectoplastic UG (haftungsbeschrankt)

  • 6144 full price in UK. What a surprise.

Well I see Launchpad a live performance tool (almost until them update it with more DAWessque features) and, due ampify apps seem a bit problematic on iOS11, I found an interesting workaround: export to Ableton (or sample parts) into Files/Documents and open in GarageBand with drag drop into Live Loops window.
It’s not so straightforward but it let me go on step further with the same workflow not included in any other DAW (until modstep 2 came) ATM.

Indeed, that is an interesting workaround. I’ll have to try that. GarageBand live looping is superb. Thanks for the tip.

For me it saves me having to start everything in Blocs and keep going back and forth. Sometimes I might just want to chuck in a few simple loops and samples. Means I’m only running one app too, so keeps the CPU heat down.

Also it let us the chance to add linear material includding AUv3 sources. @AmpifyxNovation said they are working on improvements but I’m not so confident about stability vs Apple Garageband. I will need something like external midi support or power features (for that kind of app) to keep me loyak to the workflow.
At the moment I had sold my launchControl XL due to stability issues made it redundant to my Launchkeys. I bought it for live gigging so no stability, no necessity.
Depending on how Launchpad evolve I will keep the Launchkey or sold it too.

So does NYCompressor support true side gaining in the AU, not just the main app?
Had a look on some old threads and seems it doesn’t even though it implies it does in the app description.
Edit, ok looks like it does support it but no Au hosts support it yet.
