I know right... I could have ordered fries with burger with the money saved
How does no limits compare to amazing noises limiter?
Wait, are these DDMF apps not universal?
They are, bet it’s the AppStore being weird
Yeah, it wants me to buy the equalizer again on my iPad. How does one fix this?
It’s sorts it out eventually but if you log out and in again on iPad (settings > App Store) that should do it
I love the AN limiter, but it definitely colors the sound. The harder you hit it the warmer and darker it gets even with no saturation. No Limits is much more transparent to my ear.
thanks, hmm tempted.
I like the sound of AN limiter but a more transparent one would be useful too in AUM
Get them while you can!
The directional eq from ddmf is remarkable, at this price it’s insane. I can’t think of a better eq.
Mazetools Soniface on sale: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mazetools-soniface/id1232018647?mt=8
I have a feeling that a good many on this forum... if they had the chance to really play with this one, would kick themselves for not going for this sale. Midi control is coming in the next update very soon. Something to do with user file management too.
It is powerful, doesn't scale up well on the Pro, but I can live with it...
It’s amusing trying to use it scaled down to an iPhone SE screen too.
But, it’s the most interesting EQ I’ve purchased this year I think.
from $14.99 to $9.99?
It was $21 CDN down to $14 CDN so that sounds about right.
For those looking for the traditional tools with all the desired connectivity, and an interface that’s somewhat easy to figure out, as well as fitting nicely into legacy GUI approaches, etc. This app might confound and disappoint.
If however, you’re a huge fan of new artful and creative approaches to sound app design and otherworldly sound, this app is easily one of my top 5 most innovative and interesting apps of the year. These guys are young, funded by a think tank, and committed. I paid full price for it and feel that it’s a great value at that price too. I also have the desktop OSX version that’s brand new and cool also, but in need of a stability update.
I’m a big fan of this and feel it’s definitely one to watch.
It seems like it’s full price again despite that it is the first of January
Time to start feeling the hangovers, in more ways than one.
Has it got any in/out connectivity Skip? I remember it was talked about when released, has this been added since?
+1
it’s not the developers fault its one of the many bugs of the New AppStore where it takes apps off sale one day early, this has happened many times with different apps ending it’s sale price one day early.
Now you know to get what you need one day before any sale ends or you could just contact @VirSyn

Truth! I was going to buy today because of the credit card! ):
Only iTunes File share at the moment. It didn't have anything at first, but they DID at least make that work. They promise better in/out is coming. The next update they've teased on instagram mentions midi control at the main new update, some more control over the graphics colors, and something to do with user file management. Currently, I don't thing there's a way to delete the sample recordings you make, so I'm guessing the new update will have something to do with that... and hopefully at least something like AudioShare support. However, I don't know. I'm not on beta. I paid full price for it, but have had conversations via email, their youtube channel, twitter, and instagram. They appear to be most active on instagram.
I think the trouble is, this is a complete multi-platform project iOS, Android, Windows, now including desktop windows, and OSX versions. So, I'm guessing it's a bit of a challenge making all of these platform versions work with each other.
Can't say for sure if better connectivity will come or not. I'd wager it will because they use iPads a lot in their demos, so they recognize the need for something at least better than iTunes file sharing. If this is a dealbreaker right now, it might not be for you.
But, this is also the first time it's been on sale since launch. I'm not even sure if that's a temporary "sale" or if they just lowered the price. I don't see anything about a "sale" on their twitter, instagram, etc. They don't mention the price change at all, so this may well be the new price. No clue. If so, you could just wait and see if more connectivity comes for sure. They aren't the best in the communication department.
Their YouTube tutorials clarified some of the function for me. They aren't too long. You could watch some of them and see if it's something that would interest you.

Thanks Skip. Wow, a good range of tutorials on there, I'll have a look through.
One of the things I've started doing (just before I wrote this actually) now I have the Launchkey, is recording the iPad straight into Maschine on the desktop. So although iPad interconnectivity (AU, IAA, AB, Audioshare etc.) is still important to me, if an app's good enough then I can record it straight into a desktop DAW instead. I'll have a look anyway, I've got an xmas iTunes voucher burning a hole in my pocket so I might be tempted...
agree
I think the reverb sounds really nice, but it uses quite a bit more CPU than EOS2(by audio damage). I pick the DDMF reverb over EOS2 when i know that my CPU wont start maxing in the project, but more often use eos2 instead as i often use so many effects(for hardwares) that my CPU will start maxing at some point and using eos2 instead of DDMF frees quite a lot of CPU.
One for the road. Classic game The 7th Guest is on offer for FREE

Not music, but I got an email from Affinity reminding me that their iOS app Photo and macOS apps Photo and Designer are still 20% off until Friday (I already have them).
Then there’s the Korg offer expiring soon-ish, too.
I bought but it didnt fit my needs. It also hasnt been updated in some time. If you have MIDIFlow I am not sure you would need this.
