  • Switching from the FM Type preset in Torben Bank B using the arrows next to the preset name causes both the standalone and AU to crash. Sent a long through the app. Does anyone else get the same result?

Yep. Happens here too even when selecting from the list without using the next arrow two.

  • Yes, GM has already fixed the preset crash issue and is working on a few more things before pushing the update.

  • Nice. Glad they’re on it. On a another note, while this sounds great on its own, I put FAC chorus on with very subtle settings while switch through presets... it’s a match made in heaven. Pretty obvious when I think about it but still.

Appreciate the nudge. Sounds dangerously buttery, Paul.

  • Question ! Can you use iBassist to provide BassLines and midi into BASSalicious 2?

I tried it but was only getting the first or last beat.

Just a quick update....The following bug fixes are being submitted:

    • Fixed AUv3 No Sound in GarageBand
    • Fixed Resizing of AUv3 in all Hosting Apps
    • Fixed the ability to delete banks
    • Fixed Crash with Reverb Decay
    • Fixed Crash with Some Presets
    • Added ability to share presets between AUv3 and Standalone
    • Updated Virtual Keyboard Octave Resolution
    • Added additional logging

    Future Issues Being Address:

    • Virtual Keyboard Playability (We know the issue, just need more testing)
    • Sample Rate Fixes for 2018 iPad Pros and Sample Rate Conversion
    • Bootup Crashes with some devices
    • Investigate some high CPU presets, which are probably related to IR Verbs which are high in general.
    • Working on a moveable virtual keyboard

Yes! I just tried it in AUM.
iBassist - under the midi tab, Midi Out - Send Notes - make sure the channel is set to 1 (I think default is 2) and check the octave it's sending in case of too low or too high to Bassalicious 2.
    Bassalicious 2 - Settings - Channels - Channel 1
Midi routing in AUM = iBassist virtual to Bassalicious 2.

Mute the volume of iBassist.. or not.. might be a nice blend of sounds.

Should be good to go after that.

  • Yeah just keep chugging. Love love love the 2.0 bass extravaganza.

  • @GospelMusicians, didja ever consider releasing that convolution reverb as an AU?

    B) ...shhh

  • Thanks for staying with this @GospelMusicians. Service after sale is no small thing. Consumers never forget that.
Have I said that I love this app?

God willing more apps to come! We love what we do and we love music and worship....So this is just a dream come true to be able to what we do....

But it wouldn't be anything without the support of other musicians like you guys.

  • This app is pretty unbelievable, almost every bass sound you could ever want. Great job, the only problem is that it offers too much choice, even listening to all the presets is a major task :)

Yes yes yes. Just noodled around for half an hour with the freaking FIRST TWO PRESETS (and a tiny bit o FAC Chorus, like @DCJ suggested). Just too much fun. I don't want to calculate how much time I'm going to spend checking the sounds alone. Fantastic job, you GM guys!

  • There is this preset called Breathe. Boy I love it! So subtle and great for my needs! Just a little twiddling here and there and voila... so good

Has this got full AU parameter controls? :)
answer: yes it does, just bought

  • Yes we can finally move presets!!! Thanks for that. It was gonna be a pain to have recreate those in v2.

Any idea when it will hit the App Store?

As soon as Apple Approves it :). It usually takes 24-48 hours.

For AUv3 sizing, you may not be able to get 100% full size. Literally every AUv2 hosting app needs special tweaking and programming, because every developer ads their own "twist" to the AUv3, so we will make it as compatible and useable as possible.

Apple made a standard and developers who “knew better” took it upon themselves to do something different and now we have this hot android-esque mess. Please just use the Apple resizing API’s in future apps and let the chips fall where they need to fall.

I spent a couple of hours listening and tweaking yesterday--then favorited what I think I'll use the most. Has worked out well since.

  • Hi I know this will be obvious but I can’t seem to find how to save a preset ?

Heh, that tripped me up a little at first too. First tap the User Presets library, then add a bank. Once you have a bank, the + button will be available for adding presets.
