Korg site specs page says
"Song exporting is supported.
Uploading to SoundCloud and Dropbox are supported."
So it looks like at the moment it will not render separate tracks easily.... Gotta solo for now iit seems.
Thanks @tritonman2! Even with the missing features, it's still a really solid V1
Yes if this is V1 I can only imagine where it will go from here. I definitely will want a new air this spring....
Here's a quick loop I did to teach myself the sequencer, arranger and exporter
Hopefully a sampler is included in an update instead of as an additional in-app purchase.
Does that mean you can import your own samples into the "PCM sound module" boombox gadget? Or is it just for playing back built-in sounds?
KORG Gadget has 2 PDF User Manuals for anyone interested in looking before leaping.

does it sync to midi clock?
Interesting, would have probably gotten it if not for the upcoming Cakewalk synth.
Have to say though that this is an odd product for me, somewhere between DAW and synth. I'd rather have a better DAW and pick the synths myself.

It's Korg so it's got wist, not so sure about midi sync yet
Zeta for iPad? I didn't knew about this. Shit gets serios on the iPad in 2014. AWESOME!
Guys, I'm curious... how's Gadget on the iPad mini's small screen. I have it on the AIR, and if feels a bit tiny, but not too much. (ex: octave buttons).
Oh... here's mine

I really like this app !!!
The sound is really good. I think the editor need some improvement but it's a good start.

Now I understand you were referring to how is it good that caustic is getting the beating? Well in that case I apologize. I thought you were questioning usefulness of different time signatures. Clearly makes no difference if one app is better than other I simply never got on with caustic due to sound quality, loop length in pattern mode and being fiddly iand not very logical in song mode. Still an amazing effort for a small developer. This is why I said what I said. I'm not big on app wars unless it is for the benefit of end user in which case I am all for app wars. I hope this clarifies. Peace out.
Damn the mini is pathetic :-/ and what does that freeze function do that it only increases the track count by three?! Still waiting for Zeta
After 30 mins and 5 devices my ram was maxed out. Albeit with low latency setting and without freezing. I'm getting a new ipad, air won't cut it
.
Air is fine here - I've had 14 devices across 36 scenes, no problems.
Shame no sampler, hope they add it soon. Reallly tempted by this.
What's it like for live??
What's the mixer like?
.
@simon.
You can Dropbox, audio copy and export an audio file.
.
It has Audiocopy, Dropbox, iTunes file sharing. It's nice.
It does export reverb tails. But you can crop it later anyways.
.
Air Is good but not a bottomless bucket. Guess depends on several things besides how many devices you use, like: what patch, how rich, effects used, how busy mix (how many notes), polyphony. Latency setting.
For me, even if I can only use 5 devices with killer sounds I'm happy. I inevitably compare it to caustic as it is possibly the closest in features and on my eyes vote goes to gadget as I am more into performance, immediacy and continuous layering without stopping the sequencer to alter things. Also the sound quality is good. I can finally appreciate a sound of a good tb 303 clone. The caustic one left me dry.
One thing I couldn't find is how to hook up a midi keyboard. I'm sure I saw it in feature list somewhere, unless it is among the features they list but are not there yet, like audio bus.
Mixer is automated too @klaatuninja...well,the sliders are but all nob tweaks can be recorded.
