Sweet! Thanks @MatthewAtZenbeats and team! It's great to see the progress that's being made.
I'm really looking forward to trying the midi out. What I really hope comes soon is Audiobus support so that these external sources that we can now sequence can be recorded in as audio without needing an interface that can loop back or other workarounds.
BTW, another app developer commented recently that adding Audiobus support was one of the easiest features he had added to his standalone app.
How do you change Time Signature inside a clip? Looks like it's locked to 4/4

You can't change the time signature of a clip. But, if you first change the song time signature and create a new clip, it will be created in that time signature.

Seems Recording AuMidiFx ‘midi’ to a clip\track is a real problem, not just for Zen.. but other hosts also.. hopefully this issue would be addressed soon.. Is a major reason for wanting these midi Au apps..
@MatthewAtZenbeats - unfortunately this new update still crashes instantly on iPhone 6s Plus (iOS 13.1.3)
@MatthewAtZenbeats Still crashes during plugin scan. Says it is scanning Ruismaker Noir. It takes a few restarts to get Zenbeats back in action.
Mine didn’t crash but got stuck scanning plugins several times. I quit each time and it eventually scanned all 189 (?) I think.
Good question! If you change the time signature, then copy /paste a pattern that’s in a different time signature, it pastes with the new time signature.
In drum sequencer clips, if the new time signature has more beats than the original pattern, you need to increase the number of bars to see and play the additional beats. You can then adjust the bars back down and all the beats will display and play correctly.
In pattern sequencer clips, you have to adjust the pattern length bar at the top to fit the new time signature.

Seems to block the bottom part of the AU and I don’t really need to see it...?

Synth One won’t show up in the app list... I open it first and not showing up in the list
Just spent my remaining credits on a Timbaland kit pack and transferred to the new Zenbeats to find this doesn’t transfer!!!

There is a way to transfer the packs through the back door, via files app, take the Stagelight .zip iteration of the pack, into your Zenbeats user/drum kits (move the file folder that the Timbaland kits are inside same for the 4-5 other preset sets that aren’t available through Roland, Linkin Park etc)
You have to have Stagelight installed, with all the kits in it, of course

This happens to a specific saved project, not globally.
I'd prefer not contacting support since it might be a simple user error. I was confident that I'd consider myself a power user but I really can't find what's wrong
There is a check box for metronome on on play (comes up when you press the tempo) but I’ve not encountered one for start recording every time you press play....
Not sure if a bug or not...orientation issue. You have to position the ipad horizontally , in order to have a full screen view. If you start the app vertically, it won't adjust

I’ve upgraded my phone to an iPhone 8+ - so have now got Zen Beats running (on the latest iOS).
Seems to run quite nicely actually.
However, I can’t seem to get any actual multi-channel MPE data recording in Zen Beats. Even though I have ‘enable as MPE’ switched on for the instrument.
When I play AUs like Volt or Roli Noise in Zenbeats I can hear the MPE working and being fed through to the instrument. But when I hit record the resulting midi only contains one channel of Aftertouch. Nothing else. And when payed back it no longer sounds right (sounds like it’s then only using one channel).
So could you explain how multichannel MPE data is supposed to get recorded and edited in Zen Beats?

Having trouble finding the appropriate support area at Roland - how can I bypass ZB scanning plugins at startup on macOS? Hangs and crashes out - probably a rogue iLok / eLicenser issue under Catalina, but I can’t get into ZB at all with the crash. Other DAWs scan fine. I’ve unlocked everything. As the progress bar only lists number of plugins, I can’t identify / blacklist whichever’s causing the problem.
