There really is no reason to log out every. You can still use Zenbeats even in airplane mode after you have signed int. No internetc connection required if you have signed in at least once.
In most cases, Zenbeats works at your audio hardware's default settings. To change bit depth or sample rate, you would have to be able to change it at the driver level. iOS devices do not allow this, so we have a Force 44.1 resample option in Settings/Audio. AS for importing audio, Zenbeats will convert audio on import if it doesn't match the current sample rate.
Now for some good news. We are in the final process of testing Zenbeats 1.2.1 patch which will fix plugin parameter access on most plugins (and hopefully not crash on scanning) Stay tuned!

Matt and the rest of the Roland product specialists do an excellent job of teaching and supporting Zenbeats. In these days of big faceless companies that won’t make their apps AUv3 or respond to any such request 😮 it’s nice to have this kind of contact with the folks from Roland.

I'm still having issues with the mixdown. I know it may be a setting here and there, perhaps user error, but I mixed down the simulator and it also skipped or didn't playback correctly when I played it back in Audioshare. I'll keep testing it out.
Have you contacted Roland Support? They may want to look at your project to try to figure out what is going on. I have to believe its something to do with sample rate issues but who knows for sure? I've never had any such issues but I am on a 44.1 device so that may have something to do with it.

EDIT!!!!! If I uncheck force 44.1 sample rate it mixes down fine!!!!!!!! Still need to sort that out.....
If I leave at force 44.1 its render it sounds horrible. Let me know Matt if you need to see anything.
I see the issue. For now, just turn off Force 44.1 in Settings/Audio. We will be making changes to the Force 44.1 and other resampling issues after 1.2.1. We'll get this fixed then.

Quite a journey
(I've been along for the ride since Stagelight 1.0, beta testing ZenBeats for iOS etc...)
I've got another question for you: what are the "must knows" re: getting imported SFz to work inside ZenBeats? is this a topic in the tutorials currently on offer, or is there a faq resource I can check into? Are there requirements of file structure, size, # of samples etc...?

I have a question regarding the loop builder view: with audio and instrument tracks I can set a clip to record for as long as I want until I tap it again so it starts to loop (I think this is called auto-length in other DAWs). I can't do the same with drum tracks, the clip length seems to be limited to be 1 bar. Is it a known limitation or am I missing something?
8 measure max. In the last class I attended Matt said they are looking at extending that.

@MatthewAtZenbeats hi We spoke not too long ago about the Zenbeats visual issues Iam having with the UI over on Discord Multi coloured weirdness when I copy or duplicate clips in the timeline also Import Audio Browser can not see anything to actually browse..Its happening on all my iOS Devices/ ipadOS 13 Here are some pics
@stormbeats where or how are you trying to import those files from? That is a strange path? Is the device connected to some windows browsing system?
@onerez hi Goto Clip launcher/User then a folder on the right which you can see in the photo I posted. Very weird. If the only other option is to use the clip launcher I sincerely hope there will be options in the regular clip browser to view my sample/audio folders.
@stormbeats ...... I dont even understand how you are getting that path... that would only show up if the device was jailbroke or you are using some third party tool to view into that. Or something strange is going on.
when I go into folders I can see all what I normally would see on IpadIOS. Can you screen record how you are arriving at that location?
@onerez no nothing is jailbroke. Careful with those words. 100% legit here. Will try vid bit later. I’am actually taking a break from the Zen till I see if the new on its way update fixes many of the editing issues Iam currently experiencing. Thanks for reply though
It’s all good..... but when I put that path that you have and searched for it there were 2 ways to get to it... a 3rd party app via your PC or Jailbreak.... no worries. Hope you can get it sorted out.
@anickt I think you mentioned to the dev somewhere maybe on here or Discord that there used to be a Clip selector tool to highlight several clips on the timeline but they took it away and now you have to use multi select tool which in theory is doing my head in for selecting lots of clips on Audio Track timeline. Excuse me if Iam imagining?

I’m curious what color scheme is that, BTW? Also a few reproduce questions. What choices do you have in your Files app menu? (“On My iPad” etc?)...

Cool I’ll look at Discord too...I’m looking at your screen shot and noticed the corner of the that file path pop up looks like a Windows thing. (The little diagonal corner thing)

You're not imagining. The recent update took away drag select in favor of using a one finger swipe to move the timeline. Now the only way to select multiple clips in the timeline is to use the Multi-Select tool and tap on each one. I contacted @MatthewAtZenbeats and crew and explained how much of a problem this is and got a reply back that they would look into making it an option. I am pretty sure I am not the only person who sees this as a major problem. But I am pleased that I can contact them directly and they listened to my input and hopefully will act on it with the next update.
Are you talking about the clips being different colors? Zenbeats does that automatically. A looping clip will all be the same color but a new clip or if you break up the loop there will be different colors. I find that pretty useful and wouldn't want to see all clips the same color.
One more post - what device are you importing from? That's not local to your device. Looks like an external storage device.
@anickt thanks for replying. No external device attached . Its happening on all my devices. 2 iphones & 2 ipads. @Littlewoodg thanks also but I have no idea whats happening & think I will take a break till next update. @anickt why would they take away the seletor tool thats bonkerz .
When I attempt to import an audio file it goes to the Files app. That's what I've been doing all along and never had a problem. Have you done a shut down and start up again re-start?
As far as the selection tool I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that somebody complained about ZB not using iOS touchscreen effectively for navigation. I explained to the Roland gang that typically iOS is one finger to select, drag select and move stuff around and two fingers to move the view such as slide the timeline back and forth and pinch to zoom. When I started thinking about it I realized how much drag select is something I do all the time in just about every app I use on iOS and on my Mac.
