I’ll fix you some tomatoes, but I cant eat them. I’m allergic against tomatoes. No joke.

Would your skin react if we throw them raw? Science has used Genetic Mods to make them travel better to market. They also have nightshade and that's supposed to be something to avoid. Still... pasta with meat marinara is my "last meal" choice.

    Nope.
That and isolation are the only things that matter now.
Don’t get confused by all the other political mumbojambo. ;)

We can have very different options on all the rest, but these two are the keypoints that save lifes now. ;)

To repeat: some regions of the U.S. are being even more effective than Germany in dealing with the virus.

  • I check in here and again to see the posts and sadly it’s more of the same. Every right of center view point comes right out of the “hate the media” Trumpian playbook that’s caused nothing but distrust and doubt in things like science and you know, the TRUTH.

If it were Obama or Clinton in the White House who downplayed, belittled and spread disinformation about the virus do you really think GOP’s would just be okay with it? It’s incredibly hypocritical and disingenuous. Just because the media reports what Trump says does not make them his enemy, they’re doing THEIR JOB.

It’s an insult to the entire world’s intelligence when Trump goes on these tirades and Twitter screeds claiming he didn’t say or do what everyone heard him say and saw him do! Live TV is not Fake News! Big bad CNN can’t alter or “fix” what Trump says live everyday. We used to live in a world where baseline facts, truths and reality were understood! Not anymore.

When medical professionals on the frontlines have to go from deciding who lives or dies due to an appalling lack of equipment to defending themselves against imagined charges of nurses “stealing PPE out the backdoor” something is very wrong in this country.

And it’s supremely ironic that Republicans and Conservatives who have long championed personal responsibility and the buck stopping at the top now defend someone who denies being responsible for ANYTHING, as President of the UNITED STATES (!) and spends hours at these campaign events staged as press conferences blaming everyone else for anything & everything.

So save the “I’m tired of Trump getting picked on” horseshit. Donald Trump IS the problem. If your political affiliations and need to be right stop you from admitting or even seeing that then you’ve got bigger problems than even a life threatening virus outside your door.

I agree. Trump is the Problem. He made ppl distrust decent journalism.
If you listen to him everything is fake media expect his own lies. Until he gets caught and says I never said that.
It’s really sad and weird to watch.

And there is zero decency in his own party. They didn’t even got rid of him after the Ukrainian stunt. All hail to the Chief. Imagine anyone else tried that. Anybody else would have had to leave office at once. No matter if it was legal or not.

    Shame on America.

Shame on the Republicans or Trump supporters , perhaps. Not on all America. The majority of Americans are opposed to him.

  • There’s nobody here from Russia? From the looks of it, they’re handling the pandemic quite effectively. Lots of testing from early, not many deaths, effective quarantining.

Media report the facts? That's laughable. I'm apolitical, and even I can see that. That's just my opinion.

just out of curiosity how did people describe being A-Political before the phrase was coined?

  • it's not rocket science but nobody wants to own up to the fact that chemical X exist.... Bad people who get up every morning to do bad things for bad reasons exist and no amount of denial or false equivalency or fine people on both sides bs will change that. People have choice and the will to use it.. people will kill other people for sneakers, for 5 bucks, for 500 bucks, and yes for trillions.... people of their own volition will try with all their might to stop other people from voting in spite of knowing full well that it is a constitutional right, they'll spend the whole day doing this and go home and sleep soundly at night. Discrepancies are a choice, inequality is a choice.... you can act like it's more complicated than that if you want to but when the leader of the richest, most powerful nation on earth lies to you before and after each breath.... it's a choice.

  • The 'good people', the common folk, do it too. I volunteered at a foodbank and the paid workers kept the good stuff for themselves.

Or how about these new makeshift drive-thru foodbanks? 'Good' folks with lots of jewelry showing up in their luxury sedans or sports cars expecting a handout. Saw plenty of that this morning.

1/3 of American renters didn't pay rent in the first week of April. Some of them need to sell some of their sh*t! Stop taking advantage!

  • Being apolitical sounds like a euphemism for disengaged. It doesn't seem like something to be proud of. disengagement reduces what little voice one has to none.

but if everyone isn't doing those things at the places you volunteer then what do you call the people who don't do those things, I wasn't there of course but from the description you're giving it sounds like it it was the good people who weren't doing those things?

has the meaning changed at all for you during this time, sometimes I see people use the term to mean they don't care about politics and sometimes to mean that politics doesn't affect them, maybe there are other meanings, personally I believe we are all connected regardless of choice.

I totally get being tired of the trump bashing, but I don't think he's as tired of lying to the American people as people are of the bashing.... thing is he could kill two birds with one stone and stop the lying and the bashing in a single stroke.

Yeah, the immune thing, certainly key, apparently wild monkey sex is also highly recommended for this, but Mrs. G. has me on a regime of C, D, Zinc and fish oil which, she says, is, you know, even better, so that's good.
