Overloud have just announced up to 80% off everything

It looks like the deals on iOS products are only about 30% off. Only their desktop apps are up to 80% off.

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/overloud-thu/id1478394489

Big bummer. I was hoping for 50%.

Sugar bytes about 40% off - Love to hear if people suggest any of the following apps Looperator/Effectrix/Turnado/Thesys/Unique?

I'm not sure you need Looperator when you have Effectrix. To me, these 2 apps are overlaping each others.

Looperator is showing $15.99 in US for me. At any rate it’s my second fav SB app after DrumComputer with Egoist a close 3rd. If you ever wanted to be a sample chopping wizard but can’t be bothered with learning an MPC/Mashine/BM3 workflow or just want to mangle/randomize a loop quickly...LOOPERATOR FTW.

    Turnado is great too.. deep..

Indeed. I just assume everyone with an iPad has Turnado even if they don’t make music.lol

The Desktop demo expired before I got to the NKS (Maschine)... will Buy..

Phosphor 3 For $1.99 is insane!

Love all the Audio Damage stuff!

    @SNystrom : Is Phosphor3 AUuv3? App store description doesn't mention it.

  • I honestly don’t have enough self control for these sales... RIP Bank Account

Classic FX looks absolutely amazing. Rewatching the @Gavinski tutorial and it took me about 5 minutes to buy it. Truly brilliant stuff. It and the 'scaper apps are all on sale.

Could I pick your brain on this? I love all of Igor’s other apps but Classic FX just leaves me with a big meh. I’m sure there’s something I’m not getting.

    Yes, it is.
Almost the same as the original, with improved UI and audio engine.

Happy to have a DrumComputer sale that also doesn't enrage the earliest adopters. Two bucks off two weeks later seems reasonable.

Personally, I do not get along with the Eventide stuff. The UI is very unappealing to me, and while it can sound good, I find I never reach for their apps.

    Yes.

  • This thread currently has a kind of ‘chum thrown into piranha tank’ vibe.

Re: audiodamage. I’m guessing that continua is better for ambient stuff than phosphor?

Re: audiodamage. I’m guessing that continua is better for ambient stuff than phosphor?

Probably true. Continua has a wider sound palette warmer sound and fx section more suitable for ambient. On the other hand Phosphor sounds unlike anything else, so could be a good addition :)

  • Anyone else feel like @ipadbeatmaking has his work cut out for him this week for his weekly video lol

  • @Gavinski said:
Sure, though it would still lack things that enso has like being able to make sure record starts from the start of the next bar, or next beat or whatever - i don’t think you could get a midi cc setup from an external app that would give you the same flexibility you get by doing it within enso itself

Oh, I totally agree. I have Enso and that didn't mean I didn't also get Gauss, not did having Gauss mean that I uninstalled Enso. I was just meaning that some of the functionality people were hoping for in Gauss could well be achieved by taking a more lateral approach

  • Phosphor, Unique and Animoog are the perfect "cut through mix" synths

Big bummer. I was hoping for 50%.

I’ll spend the next few days deciding whether I should just pick up the Th-U Full Mac version for $149 and maybe get the IOS version for $45 or just get the IOS full for $79. I think the rigs may be cheaper as well on IOS if you have the Mac/PC full. Am I right about this? Decisions, decisions!

  • I purchased continua but for some reason its not showing as an auv3 anywhere and only opens in standalone. Anyone know why this could be?

It happens sometimes, a reboot should fix it though :)

  • Damn, I think Continua is the only AD plugin I don't have (...yet)

... but I'd suggest Turnado or Looperator for a more live or improvised workflow.

    Agree with that 100%.
I have Turnado, Effectrix and more recently, Looperator.
Effectrix is least randomizable and the most same-y.

ALTHOUGH...in Turnado, the Vocoder and Ring Modulator kind of grinds what ever you put into it to mush. On the other hand, love those dice. Wish I could somehow bypass the vocoder/ring modules when randomizing.

    Yes they are. Visit www.overloud.com

It also looks like none of the individual amps, cabs or effects are on sale at all.

Ahh like a kid in a candy store over here! Sorry this is off topic...EVERY TIME I reboot my IPad Pro running on the latest Apple software update version, I lose all of my app folders and it takes me hours to recatogorize everything and refolder all of my apps as I have so many. Has this issue happened to any of you? Most annoying. Anyways, carry on shopping as IOS Christmas has come this week. Decisions! Decisions! Have fun deciding and getting in them deals! Cheers, ED

  • Overloud It’s like the opposite to every other company the desktop version is almost cheaper than the IOS one.

No can't say that's happened to me, that is annoying! Are you on a recent iOS version?

  • AudioKit apps are on sale:

  • Will get whatever Sugar Bytes stuff I don't have like Looperator, already have everything by Eventide already.

I’m lost, I don’t know 1% of how it works. Who cares, it sounds amazing. Truly unique.

There are some amazing YouTube tutorials by Digital Jeepney. Honestly, I can't praise them enough!

Am exactly in the same spot, got it because of this thread, no clue how how it works but sounds awesome.
I watched the first Jeepney tutorial and it instantly made sense!

Yeah, seems like we’re all doing the same!.

Theses tutorials are informative, entertaining, very well explained, love them. Still, as I watch them I feel like “it makes sense, I get it, as soon as I close the video and open the app I won’t have a clue”. This thing is bloody hard, let’s not fool ourselves. For starters I even have a hard time just grasping the basics of the matrix, even the “from” and “to”...
