  • The Klevgrand bundle is canny. I only really want Skaka but I'll end up paying more than it costs to get other apps I don't need because: sale. Pursued to its most extreme point, this is the mindset of abject poverty.

Love all the Audio Damage stuff!

Yeah, AudioDamage prices are soo positively twisted I think to buy them all ;) Taking into account all the applications it's 61% discount. All 19 apps cost the same like 1 desktop Continua including 50% off. Which number are MUST HAVE? :)

    Will someone stop me already?.
I even bought the Ratshackshit Reverb thing that sounds like an out of business skating ring announcement.

  • For anyone else who's trying desperately to wait until all the sales have dropped before shopping, I've put all the stuff I've found on sale this week into a Google Sheet

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-PagS7JgInLVgXnngVPfrrfJAjYseePvKAurYRkWpUA/edit#gid=0

I haven't made it alllll the way back to when sales started dropping last week yet, but I'm working on it.

Please add anything you see missing

These prices are a steal ...

Replicant is excellent for quick and easy beat slicing, from subtle to drastic, with a lot of depth and options to customise the effect
Continua packs a mighty punch for rich evolving ambient and rhythmic sounds (think Bladerunner)
Dubstation is a great bread and butter delay unit
Quanta is a great take on the granular synth genre but doesn't have onboard effects
QuatroMod is great for adding thickness and depth to sounds
PanStation works well for adding a sense of width and space to ambient spaces

Some forum members report stability issues but apart from the odd crash, I've generally found them very stable in my 3 years of using them on iOS, often with multiple instances of each in AUM. Effects are generally very CPU efficient. Continua can be a bit CPU heavy but that's the cost of an analogue modelled sound.

Ahh like a kid in a candy store over here! Sorry this is off topic...EVERY TIME I reboot my IPad Pro running on the latest Apple software update version, I lose all of my app folders and it takes me hours to recatogorize everything and refolder all of my apps as I have so many. Has this issue happened to any of you? Most annoying. Anyways, carry on shopping as IOS Christmas has come this week. Decisions! Decisions! Have fun deciding and getting in them deals! Cheers, ED

Maybe worth starting a new thread? You might get more response that way as everyone's on this thread for bargain hunting.

I didn't notice anything like this, but another thing bothers me. iOS has a limit of 15 tabs, all new purchases have no place for themselves and icons aren't displayed.

Regarding what you say, an application that can save the layout of icons including folders with the possibility of export and import would be useful, maybe there is already something like that in apstore, in fact I have never looked for it. Maybe here you will find something that will help you save time: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/layouts-iphone-home-screen/

Could I get your opinion on the EOS reverb? Can it hold it own beside some of the heavyweight algorithmic reverbs like TB Reverb and Fabfilter Pro-R?

No. It was the first reverb I got on iOS, and I've tried using it since I got the 2 you mentioned and it just doesn't compare.

English is not my first language so I'm not sure to fully understand you answer. If I understand correctly, TB Reverb is way better than EOS?

Cheers for the input. It's a steal of a price, but how many average reverbs does one need? Picked up Replicant 2 instead :)

He seems to say that both mentioned reverbs are better than EOS

I will grab TB Reverb as my 74th iOS reverb. It looks fun. Thanks!

  • If the Klevgrand apps were universal I'd be there instantly, but the fact that none of them work on iPhone and loads of my music-making time is when I only have a 7 Plus with me detracts from their appeal immensely. Also I find it really irritating when apps force me to have different work flows on iPad and iPhone (thanks FabFilter...)

Yes, I am! On a First Gen IPad Pro.

    Luxe and Spinn are essential.

If you bought one of the apps already, use the scroll to bottom of app page and back to top to see if it applies a discount based on what you paid for the apps you already have. It should knock bundle price down if you already paid for some apps inside of the bundle.
