  • Evolution Series offers an interesting (and FREE) Kontakt instrument, the clar-duduk. Apparently, it's a combination of a clarinet and a duduk. I wish they called it a durinet or a clariduk, but in any case I am a huge fan of the duduk, officially the most heartbroken-sounding instrument ever invented by humans. This hybrid will be a perfect companion for the moment when we get our first post-Black Friday bank statement.

  • VI Labs 35% off until Dec. 1st. Makers of Ravenscroft 275 on PC.

  • Embertone 40-60% off. Makers of Jubal Flute, Ocarina: Amaya, and Sensual Sax.

  • I have been regularly checking in on TAL and they now have their sale on. You only see the discount once you add something to your basket. If my maths is correct then it looks like 20% off

By the way, some pretty sweet deals going on over at Cherry Audio. Just bought their new ARP Quadra for macOS and their DCO-106 for macOS for a grand total of $64.00!

    http://www.cherryaudio.com

*I guess I should make it clear I have no connections, financial or otherwise to them, I've just had my eye on their software for some time.

  • I must say mo-phatt gives me great fun as well as the vintage pro modules. Note: these are all the original roms from EMU and they are indeed authentic 😎
I just want to say that the EMU romplers are very good. If a rack unit, keys or groove box / drum machine enter your market by all means pick it up. I had a chance to score a Mo Phat keys a few years ago for the price of a basic 61 key MIDI controller and although it's bulky and the UX is worse than a Roland hold scroll click n'roll wet dream, I will NEVER sell it.

  • Plogue's plugins are half off. Bit-accurate DX7 (OPS7) for $24.98. Bidule is not on sale though.
    https://plogue.com/store.html

  • Don't know if it was mentioned earlier but Softube also has a pretty nice sale going on. If you don't mind the iLok their stuff sounds pretty amazing and fat. I really dig the Moog and Juno emulation and Heartbeat is pretty nice too...well I bought almost all their modular stuff. And off course Arturia....had a nice surprise: after purchasing the V collection I got an additional discount on Pigments and the FX collection.

At this point pretty much everyone has a deal going on, the only ones still holding out are UVI, but they already said there will be a deal.

For those interested, Sytronik 2 has been released. Even if you don't plan to buy it, your S1 instruments will work in the new shell (Minus the new edit features) but you will get M1 native compatibility and proper host automation. ST4 has also been updated to be M1 native.

If you are interested in buying, only the MAX version will get you the new synths! The regular version will update the old synths and provide new presets etc., but the 11 new synths are only in MAX.

If you got it as a freebie from the group buy (like me) you don't see the real price on the page (some technical issue) but as soon as you put it into the cart and automatic coupon is applied.

In total the upgrade to S2 max costs 149$ + tax. For me that's currently too much, as I could get the complete V collection for only 30€ more and I feel I have more then enough synths, but M1 compatibility is a big plus for me.

Vividtracker is the best sequencer I've found to work with the Sample on iOS. Just bought it a couple of days ago. Wish I'd known about it a year ago when I bought the Sample.

  • Fabfilter have 25% off everything until Nov 30.

  • I’m thinking I might get the Creative Bundle.

    Gulp.

Thanks, very cool. Available for iOS, iPadOS, and M1 Mac too.
Export samples to Korg NTS-1 and Volca Sample. Send pattern data to Volca Sample. Export samples as Korg Logue user oscillators.

I’m more than happy with ST4 being native now. Syntronik 2 CS includes some extra free presets but being able to use all syntronik 1 packs in ST4 natively is more than good enough for me.

Although I’m getting a bug whereby ST4 crashes and makes Logic quit as soon as you close the plugin window (luckily Logic quits fairly elegantly, if crashing can ever be elegant!, and gives you the option to save your project first).

Syntronik 2 doesn’t crash for me. I’ve reported the ST4 bug I’m sure I’m not alone (i think it’s a Logic 10.7.1 thing as the previous Rosetta ST4 also crashes in Logic 10.7.1 when it didn’t crash in 10.7) and am not too worried, gotta expect the odd bug and hiccup as developers make their plugins native.

I’ve read a lot of sniffy posts on other forums with people complaining about IK at every opportunity, but I’ve got to say I wasn’t expecting to get all the ST4 libraries I got for free in the group buy to be upgraded to universal binaries for free so soon, so credit where it’s due.

Mind you they could solve a huge amount of bad press if they just let you choose which T-Racks processors to install. It is a bit annoying to have a huge list of plugins you don’t own. I fixed that by getting almost all of them in the group buy

T-Racks and mixbox next for universal binary suppor please Mr I. k. multimedia :-D

Me too, though it’s a tricky beast to tame… I’m thinking about getting that odd valve emulation thing, Phil’s Cascade, probably a bit of a snake oil thing but it’s also quite good fun…

They are pretty deep from what I have seen in the limited time I have spent playing. Lots of different effect possibilities packed in there, the sorts of things you would need a pile of iOS FX apps to try and emulate. I’m not a knob-twiddler so the fact that they both come with a load of presets was a big bonus.

Knifonium sounds really nice from the YouTube vids and samples on the site. COuld be tempted although trying to keep some powder for the UVI sale. I grabbed Biome at the last PA $29 sale and that's a bargain I reckon. It's a wild plugin.

  • A new product suite from IK Multimedia that includes the Electric Grand C70P, Stage 73 Mark V, Electric Piano Bass and Wurly Model 120.

I've got more EPs than I can shake the proverbial stick at but these sound good and the collection is 50 euro down from 150 euro, through till January 1st.

Finally time to dig that voucher out  Synth Anthology should be pretty cheap if the voucher applies.

  • @MisplacedDevelopment I think there's another voucher at the end of the year, too. But don't hold me to that.

I just checked and was surprised to get a 10 EUR thanksgiving voucher! Will spend that on a Falcon preset pack I think.

BTW The pluginalliance code BFD1-2999 expires tomorrow 26/11/2021.

Another code will drop on the 27th (no prizes for guessing what it might be -- it's not a hard code to decipher )
