New plugin from Tone Empiere - Neural Q for free till 1 May
https://tone-empire.com/shop/neuralq/
By the way, it looks like many of their plugins are on sale only on their web site.
https://tone-empire.com/store/
Depending on where your politics lies....here is the latest from the inverted Waves company: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/pa_forever_29.html
Could be handy with a little planning. Means also that the resale price on their plugins is pretty much non existent now..
There’s also the ADSR sample manager app that’s free. However I’m not that interested in a sample manager app. I don’t really use sampled loops and never sample records.
The appeal of Atlas 2 and XO is in making custom drum kits and finally making use of the tons of drum samples I,be amazed and never exploited before.
My main ‘quandary’ is whether XO or Atlas would suit me better or whether I actually need either!
If you have an account with positive grid, you have to sign up in the apps to use the cloud, then check your email. I just got this…

Hello Cali Dual Three Channel!!
Very interesting new plugin from Aberrant DSP currently $20 instead of $30 - I love this kind of stuff...
"Digitalis is a multi-effect digital degradation and glitch tool. Inspired by bad converters, unearthed CDs, weak internet connections, and catastrophic errors, Digitalis is your personal vehicle through an endless digital wasteland."

Antarestech Articulator free with a 14 day trial subscription to all the other auto tune stuff.
https://www.antarestech.com/product/articulator/
I quite like the look of this plugin but am not sure signing up for a subscription which I don’t want is worth the hassle for the sake of a free plugin…
To reply to my own question I think ADSR might be enough for my needs. It would be nice to have the atlas randomise kit feature but dragging samples directly into Logic’s drum machine designer is a better fit than using a separate sampler for me as it makes it much easier to use the same project at home and on my office iMac as the samples get saved with the project. My office Mac has a much bigger sound library available as external drives are permanently attached.
I like the atlas feature where it will make a new kit from random samples but a cool feature of ADSR is that you can filter by tag(s) and then hit the R key to randomly choose a sample. That’s probably good enough given the benefits of using Logic’s drum machine designer as the main drum kit sampler.
Cosmos might also fit the bill and it’s AI is apparently better for tagging samples. I can’t see why I can’t use both Cosmos and ADSR. After all they’re only going to be cataloguing my existing samples…
Anyone mention Audiomodern having a 30% off sale of desktop versions of their plugs? I'm able to use the ios versions through iConnect, but debating the merits of having them onboard instead (multiple instances, saved with project etc.).
This one is insanely good and $20 for entry is equally insane.

@Samu I’m not sure if you’re iOS-only but if not I’d be very curious on your take of the Digitalis plug-in.
On the desktop I'm mainly using Renoise, SunVox and Logic with mostly Stock Plug-Ins and some free stuff.
...that's good enough for me
I did try the demo but I do NOT like it, it's miniature deluxe and thus for me pretty much unusable.
insta buy. aberrant is one of my favorite dev's. always top quality stuff
I like them too but I feel this ground is well covered with Bit Juggler, Glitchmachines, and various lofi plugins...?
Oh you mean the UI is too cramped(?) As far as "degrader" AUs go I thought this one might be a hit for you - and I especial marvel at the 'Paint' (upper left) effect with its sync and different textures. It is crowded though.
I thought so too before trying the demo - have you given it a spin yet?
Not yet. This video does make it sound tempting
Zynaptiq Morph is on sale at 42% off. (Now I see Melda has put their Mmorph at 50% off.)
Haven’t been impressed much by the Melda demos…
Anyone have the Zynaptiq ? I already went on an early spring splurge but this is one I always keep my eye out for a sale. I’ve been doing way more sound design than usual and making some weirdo Kontakt instruments (will eventually port to decent sampler and share some for iOS). Gonna grab the demo now…
Ive used it on a few tracks. Its really good for adding color to a track with settings a lower levels. Raise the levels and add in more modules and it gets bonkers if you’re into noise, experimental, or sound design. Worth every penny of 20 usd and unique.

It's a new merger of Plugin Alliance, Native Instruments and Izotope called Soundwide - they're celebrating with some great freebies but I hope it doesn't make a difference to their apps and plugins in the future...
Wow. Go grab Ethereal Earth, guys, it has some fantastic sounds.
Agreed - but the Plugin Alliance bundle is also incredible - bx_oberhausen is a really good synth and there are some awesome mastering tools as well...
I had most of the plugins in there already but had been looking at Oberhausen last week, very cool!
Black box hg-2 lives in my master bus for every mix, it is an awesome plug-in. I use shadow hills for bus compression when I want it to be a little more subtle but also thicken things I up a bit. And focusrite console made me like the “console strip on every channel” approach, which led to me getting console 1, so I love it for that. But, as a channel strip, it’s very clean and gets the job done well.
There are some pretty nice plug-ins there; And an Izotope!
Isn't Neutron Elements always free though? Izotope don't seem to be entering into the spirit of this celebration...😉
Cymatics just dropped a free 3gb sample pack called Orchid. There is a beat contest too.
