Thanks.
Changed buffer from 1024 to 512 but still crashes.
Sorting a template has pretty much been my ios experience.
Hoping it isnt permanent. As there wouldnt be much point keeping the gear. If I cant complete a template. Or device resources are used from template. Dont want to keep making 1 pattern music. Reason for 60 patterns. Is so I dont run out of recording space. Even if its just audio to fx.
I made my own template with 40+ Patterns which plays back
without any issue hence why I asked you to send the actual project file.
There could be something not so obvious that could be causing your crashes
and if so either you or myself can send the project file on to Giku to check.
This is good to know.
I rarely use Undo so I can’t assist you there however I think this issue
has been looked at on the Beta so next update it should be cool.
Thanks for the 411 👍 I appreciate it.
No worries, the reason why I don’t use Undo it’s because there are so many combinations and
I just thought to myself just play it in the once and play it again if needs be and that goes for any DAW. 😁
Not to mention that a significant percentage of the time the thing you realize you want to undo is a couple of steps back and you end up needing to redo some number of steps anyway.
Yeahhh….😁
Hmm. I know what yous mean, but I’m not referring to undoing edits. Actually I seldom use the piano roll. I keep most of what I record into the sequencer, but if my timing is off, I feel it’s faster to hit undo and play it again as you say. But in my case, undo one time undoes multiple entries from prior patterns for some reason, even tho I toggled record off and on again. I’m referring to the behavior when using AU MIDI record, not the transport control. It’s no issue if my track is empty or only has a few other notes, cause I simply and quickly tap away the offending note already visible to me on the sequencer. It only becomes a PITA when the note happens to over dub onto a preexisting other note, resulting in a chord. That’s when I have to open the keyboard editor Just to eliminate that one note, which sometimes results in me accidentally fuckn up other stuff. Actually, That’s the only time I have to use the editor in Drambo. I just wish undo would undo in between record toggles. Perhaps it does for regular transport control, and maybe it’s just a AU record thing.
If you’re questioning why I’m recording the events the way I am, it’s just cause they are not used as notes in the traditional sense. More like triggers for something else. Thanks for listening.
Drambo on my peeps ✌️
Whats the verdict ?
The more template patterns. The more prone to crash on save. On different ipads ( ipad 9s ) Without any au or fx.
The save process slows down with more patterns and crashes.
Hope patterns dont need resources.
It would mean its un-usable because you wouldnt want to save.
3 ipad 9. 9gb ram and 3 x A13 bionics processors.
Just for clarification, @sigma79 - are you using the standalone or the AUv3 version of Drambo when you see this problem?
Standalone
Crashes with long template patterns x 50
but not 16 step patterns x 50 plus 8 additional, Model D.
It cant be cpu and resources for longer patterns.
More than model Ds ?
Awaiting reply.
Got about 45 tracks and long patterns x 20.
Nearly all tracks are audio inputs and busses.
So mainly a mixer.
But the more tracks and pattern lengths you add.
The save slows down more.
Can anyone tell me if it seems to need all computer resources before you do anything ?
You wouldnt expect AUM to use all resources with just adding channels.
So hope its a fixable fault.
I think you might be better off asking about this issue on the Beepstreet Forum where it's more likely to get attention from the developer.
@sigma79 sharing a project that exhibits the issue for you would be very helpful
Iv already sent and Giku already knows.
Shouldnt really go on about it but just worried its a resource issue but its probably just a state save.
Other potential issue is abelton link across devices is 1 bpm out. If you adjust to 94 the other ipad is 93.
Not sure if it means out of sync, anywhere/overtime.

Sorry if already asked or beginner-question:
Drambo as AUV3 - how do I get the envelopes reacting like in stand alone?
F.e.
Wavescanner + ENV ADSR:
In stand alone only signal by triggering.
In AUV3 signal all the time…
Use either AMP ADSR module from “processor” category OR “Env ADSR” from modulator and “AMP” from processor categories.
Both schemes bellow are playing just on note event from NS sequencer
@dendy
So kind of You. Thanks!! 🙏🏽 Seems that I have chosen the right AmpADSR by accident in stand alone mode…
doesn't matter if you are running Drambo standalone or as plugin.. both works, it's just that one onky generates adsr comtrol signal which you need use to modulate amp module which actually then processes audio, other one directly encapsulates adsr envelope AND amp so you can process ausio directlt through it
So I’ve been doing lots of tracks lately, you know when the muse strikes you gotta go with the flow.
But now I want to compile them into a project. What’s the best way to go about this? Drambo-ception will allow me to copy-paste? Could try it myself and I will, but any help?
Is there a way to see ghost notes in Drambo? As in, to see the notes from one track or scene on the piano roll while editing a different track or scene.. thanks!
Can any Drambo experts answer questions ( for the challenge aspect )
Is Drambo not configured somehow to deal with multiout fx.
Indications.
In vid. Drambo cant sequence bleass voices ( harmonics ) but loopbud can ( which is a midi fx )
Drambo can play harmonics via keyboard but not sequence back without some sort of clipping.
Other indication. Drambo cant deal with more than 8 multiout fx routings before switching additional routings to mono. Even if you dont route the first 4 main bleass oscilators. So theres only 8 harmonics connected in Drambos multiout to bleass. It still switches additional voices to mono. The same as if all Bleass voices are routed in Drambo as multiout.
This indication means Iv got to use AUM. Record voice. Make Bleass multi instance in aum. Then use KQ loopback per channel to Drambo. Where you gain pan and fx.
If I need to use AUM because of the indication problems described.
It means I have to additionally ( with the aum setup )
Use an instance of Drambo to trigger neon or loopy ( the original audio ) through bleass voices.
To sync with a Drambo project and because loopbud can only seem to sequence trigger the bleass voice harmonics.
I also have to sequence loopbud by pattern.
but loopbud is cc triggered.
Ideally I could trigger loopbud ( cc patterns ) With Drambo ( in aum ) whilst Drambo additionally sequences Neon or loopy, via same Drambo sequencer ( which is triggering neon or loopy by note )
Maybe Drambos additional sequencer module will be usefull. If you need a seperate sequencer for ccs.
If its because Drambo dosent have multiout fx routing ( via midi ) as described.
Then obviously its quite hassle just for some sequenced harmonics.
Hi guys,
Do I understand correctly that I can choose whether I record MIDI notes in a clip quantized or unquantized, but only quantized when recording in a sequencer module?
Is multiple sequencer modules > @sigma79 said:
I don’t know if that’s what you mean sigma but you said something that I was asking on dRambo forum.
Can you create a track with multiple midi sequencer modules , and set each of them to be triggered by a different note in the clip launcher?? Like C1 triggers sequence 1, D1 triggers sequence 2? If that makes sense to you?
Yes. Set each sequencer module’s “Mode” to “Note Selected”.
I answered you over at the beepstreet forum also (I’m Intrepolicious over there. My old name)
Thanks so much
Sorry dude: I didn’t see it (fearandloathing is my old name from there too)
