    New historical low for Groovebox. Nice!

    Where do you find the IAP? I wish it was easier to find IAP’s in Bleass apps

    Config -> Go Pro

    Have I already gone pro, and I don’t know it?

    Looks like it. With the free version "GO PRO!" is in-between LAUNCH TUTORIAL and ABOUT, and there is no SAMPLE PACKS menu item.

    It did exactly a year ago 👀

  • Anyone have any experience with Starwaves? I heard it was buggy at first, but I'm not sure if it is more stable now. Is it worth the price?

    It does have a simple synthesizer, yes. Koala is a MIDI-based sampler with a free grid, while Hypertron appears to function more as a sequencer in its true sense. Hypertron comes with real pitch-shifting, whereas Koala achieves pitch changes by playing samples at different speeds, consequently altering the sample's duration. Hypertron has some really cool features, with some, like automation, being a bit hidden at first. There’s not much of documentation online yet. However, the developer is actively working on a substantial update, including AUv3 support, according to his Twitter / Instagram.

    Wait, what? AUv3 support and a substantial update? That's great news! I always liked Hypertron and have the pro unlock but it felt abandoned for a long time. Happy to hear that it isn't.

    Yonac sale!!! Magellan 2 and Galileo are $2.99

    Im actually tempted with M2… but I have enough subtractive synths I think

    Yeah the Yonac synths are great but I could only recommend one it would be Trooper. I have the others but don’t use them very often. Trooper, I use all the time.

    Steel Guitar Pro is amazing as well though kind of in a different territory.

    Oddly enough , Trooper didn’t vibe with me that much. It’s the one synth I’ve never really made good patches…sounded a bit too metallic for my tastes

    I’m a fan of trooper, i don’t use it as much as some other synths but i think it’s one of the better Yonac offerings. it is a bit gnarly, buzzy, etc… there’s a couple free patch banks available somewhere.

    Steel Guitar Pro is definitely worth $2.99. That is a phenomenal app. Kaspar is super duper deep. Up to 24 oscillators at once.

  • I thought I shared this but maybe not. There’s so much going on right now it’s hard to keep up.

    Yonac Sale!

  • Any thoughts on vividshaper? It looks and sounds really cool, but I’m definitely not a coder so I’m curious about how useful it is for a noncoder… some reviews say the example presets give you a good starting point, but how many patches come with it? Any available elsewhere? Thanks.

    Not very useful, better leave it be. I think the dev has. Joined his discord (McD and some others did too) and it was action for a short while and then went dead quiet. Fun idea it was.
