I asked Sinan Bokesoy at the time thermo2 came out if it will come to iOS.

Is this the guy who treated Hainbach badly?

If so, a lot of people here wouldn't buy anything from him.

    Wait…what ? Hadn’t heard about that

    Yeah I definitely will!

Based solely on videos I like the sound of Magellan 2 better…. Anyone have any opinion on the IAP, especially the 80s and horror packs?

Any thoughts on vividshaper? It looks and sounds really cool, but I’m definitely not a coder so I’m curious about how useful it is for a noncoder… some reviews say the example presets give you a good starting point, but how many patches come with it? Any available elsewhere? Thanks.

Not very useful, better leave it be. I think the dev has. Joined his discord (McD and some others did too) and it was action for a short while and then went dead quiet. Fun idea it was.

Yea, I kind of got that vibe. The demo sounds nice and the idea is super cool, but I wasn’t sure if it was a smart choice for me. I appreciate the feedback. Anything could have happened, you know, hopefully we will see some future development, and more patch sharing then I will rethink it. It seems like it would be a great app for Patchstorage. Cheers buddy.

It is pretty old now. You might already have apps that can do the same thing.

  • @Poppadocrock if you are a fan of the one knob design and a dollar to spend… it is easy to use. But @Simon is right that there are so many apps covering the same territory now. I haven’t used it in a long time because of all the other apps that catch my eye first when scrolling through the elongated list of AUv3 effects I have accumulated.

We live in exciting times haha

  • Does Knock crash as much as some of the reviews suggest? I have an M1 iPad Pro.

It does have a simple synthesizer, yes. Koala is a MIDI-based sampler with a free grid, while Hypertron appears to function more as a sequencer in its true sense. Hypertron comes with real pitch-shifting, whereas Koala achieves pitch changes by playing samples at different speeds, consequently altering the sample's duration. ...

Happily that's no longer a hard limitation for Koala pitch shifting. 👍🏼😎

  • Any good deals on superlative pianos? I like Pianoteq but find the pricing inscrutable. Pure piano maybe?

Oh nice, I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip!

  • @lukesleepwalker Maybe check out KORG Module, if you haven't already. The sale goes until 11/30, and they offer 7-day trials of their instruments - https://apps.apple.com/app/id1048875111

Ravenscroft is 50% off. For me, still the best value for the money.

    Music apps IAPs on sale!

Those screenshots look like AppRaven, but how do you get the IAPs listed under the apps?

You only get the iap info in the Paid version of appraven, which means either a subscription or a lifetime purchase.

You have the paid version? Because u can view a filterable list of all apps with iaps on sale in the paid version, but not in the free one. In the paid version that list is accessed by clicking on the IAPs section on the main view of the home screen

Thanks for mentioning. I thought that was the case but didn’t double check to confirm. Guitar Capo + was/is cool, but hasn’t been updated in awhile, no au, older app… but it does send core midi out. I haven’t tried it in awhile, think I might do that.

Tok Camera is a free app but a bunch of the IAPs are currently free.
