  • Is this intro pricing of IAPs?

Wow that acoustic guitar. Haven’t heard better on iOS.

Could anyone specify the time stamp where the guitar sounds are in Doug’s video? I don’t have time to watch the whole video right now.

But have you heard the guitars in Pianoteq? It’s actually got me thinking about buying the Stage license just for that. Shoot, I have real guitars that don’t sound this good!

    2.2Gb !

    25Gb with all IAPs !

For guitar you will definitely want to go with Pianoteq, there is no competition

It only costs 1100 USD to get all the packs.

I thought it was a misprint . This is more expensive than NI KOMPLETE .

Oops - comment edited, thought you were talking about pianoteq.

    1. Without buying IAPs the 2.1 GB net me exactly 1 (one) sound. Correct?
    2. Singing Bowl is spelled with an L.
    3. What I’d really like would be a prepared piano a la John Cage.
    4. A way to preview the packs would be great. Couldn’t find it on the webpage.
  • The choirs could be interesting.

Sure, but, this two packages can't be compared...
NI Komplete Ultimate it's so much more than a rompler...

As someone above wrote - 2.2GB download, almost nothing to present more then the front UI... Hmmm...

  • Someone in a Facebook group said there is something wrong with iap packs they bought and no sound comes out, I wonder if more sound is also supposed to come to other presets besides the one that works and that also isn’t working ? It sounds like it’s been reported and now they are waiting for the developer to fix what isn’t working.

  • I hear no sound when changing a preset.

You have to download the packs first!

  • I wonder if the orchestral packs have a few articulations, and modwheel support for fading between dynamic layers. I think that would be a first on iOS.

  • AudioLayer never had a marketPlace for buying instruments, and making them on an iPad is tedious, but it is an amazing app. Having professional instruments to buy is great… but If this also imported AudioLayer and DS instruments then Kontakt might have some serious iOS competition here. Would sell like hotcakes.

They probably bought them but didn't download them?

I was wondering the same question.
Articulation. Only Embertone instruments have it afaik.
Modwheel : Beathawk supports this and I would expect the same from a “Premium” rompler. Having good brass tone without being able to fade from soft to loud would be a miss. At least, AudioLayer allows to do this in some way.
My fear is that the modwheel be assignable only to the main slider, so crossfading between different samples, which is not the same.

  • Hi all. It turns out that there is a severe problem with in-app-purchase of libraries which didn't showed up in the Test Store.
This means I have to prepare an update first and have stopped the sale of XinematiX in the App Store temporarily.

In any case rest assured that those who have purchased and didn't get the libraries will get them after the update. And if they are lost you’ll get a free replacement from me.
If you have discussed this problem already in any forums I would kindly ask you to transfer this info there because I can't get
directly in contact with them and can't have my exes everywhere.

Please take my apologies and I’ll keep you informed.
Hope to have the update in the store tonight.

    Best Regards

    Harry

  • 2.5 GB and there is no factory sound bank? Am I missing something?

If I remember, all the paid sample libraries together come in at around 30GB

The factory set has 4 (four) sounds:

"Analogue Warm Strings 2" in Motion&Pad
    "Heaven on Earth" in Motion&Pad
"Class X Orchestra 6" in Orchestra
"Cinematic Art Piano 2" in Piano & Key

Each of them are themselves stacks of one or more multi samples.
    Therefore the big size.

There are two Felt Pianos, but not exactly the way prepared by John Cage. I will forward your request...

We will provide previews of all sample packs in very near future (next week).

  • Has app been removed from UK store… it was there earlier when I was at work. Was waiting until I got home to download and it’s no longer there?

As I wrote earlier (see post above) I had to remove it from sale temporarily. The fixed version is now waiting for review and comes hopefully the next hours. Please stay tuned.
