Wow that acoustic guitar. Haven’t heard better on iOS.

Could anyone specify the time stamp where the guitar sounds are in Doug’s video? I don’t have time to watch the whole video right now.

But have you heard the guitars in Pianoteq? It’s actually got me thinking about buying the Stage license just for that. Shoot, I have real guitars that don’t sound this good!

The classical guitar was one of my two Stage picks. So good. And yes, best I’ve heard. Using it with the Jammy guitar is like the real thing.

  • Anyone know why this isn’t available in the US?

There have been App Store issues in a number of territories it seems, including the UK. It's a known issue and apparently a fix is coming.

Too bad there’s no steel guitar

Maybe Harry will turn his talents to physical modeling next… @Gavinski has been hinting that a Decent Sampler alternative is in the works. But this might be more of a Kontakt alternative because importing free instruments might not be a part of the plan. If it imports Decent Sampler xml files I’ll be ecstatic. Maybe as an IAP in a year if it sells like LP4IOS.

    Kontakt on iOS… 😮‍💨 😮‍💨 😮‍💨

Kontakt and Kontakt player are much more than multilayer sample players.> @Bootsy said:

Read up-thread. Virsyn explained the situation.

    For that, there's Yonac.

  • Just downloaded the update. Now the library selections don’t match. Selecting a library brings up a completely different choice. Strange.

  • Update didn’t work for me. The store is still a mess.

  • Actually just read the app instruction. Suggests a reinstall. Deleted and reinstalling now.

  • Hi all,
XinematiX is now back in the Store.
    Sorry for all the trouble.
Those who experienced problems please trash the App, redownload and tap on "Restore" in the Sample Store.
Then you have to download your purchased libraries again.

    Harry

  • Nope. Still not working. Also little concerned about the sound libraries. Tried to download metal fx - does it really only come with 22 sounds for $14.99? I sure hope not.

  • Is there a way to preview the sounds before purchase?

  • Sorry about the mess. Pulled the trigger again.
The problem is simply not reproducible with the Sandbox environment only with the real App on the real App Store and therefore I missed another point in the App. Would have been better for me not to touch a computer keyboard the last days...

Fix is on the way and I could need all thumbs pressed :s

  • I have a question @VirSyn if you get a moment. Is there anywhere you can show a full list of what you’re getting with each iap? It’s far too expensive to just buy a load (not meant as a criticism but it is) so people are going to need to be very selective but at the moment it’s really a bit of a mess trying to guess what to buy, I expect I’m missing something . But all I see is a huge list of very expensive iap with no guidance as to what they contain. For example, I want to hear what I’ll be getting really, like in other similar apps, isymphonic, beathawk etc, but certainly see a full list of what is in each purchase - like I said maybe I missed that.

I want to buy world instruments, choirs and strings but they’re mostly spread over lots of different packs some very vaguely titled and as mixtures (winds and voice, voices and choirs… different strings .. what are xinematix strings, strings and etc)

Thanks… don’t mean to be complaining by the way, I appreciate the difficulty getting it sorted out ( i bought two packs and one doesn’t work and the title of it changed to a duplicate so hopefully the fix will). Thanks, and great sounding app.

saying "for iOS" (aka iPhone, sometimes also including iPad) and then being "for iPad only" (aka iPadOS) was a smack in the face ;(

  • There're some really good sounds here, but I'd be so wary of spending anything like that kind of money on one iOS product :(

Only one factory preset makes any sound. Moreover the list od sounds is full but 99% seems to be unavailable.
That's really not to encouraging to invest any money im this app. Sorry.

    and download size is huuuge

  • Perhaps it would be better to charge something like 4.99 and then make available a representative sound from each category / pack. A bit like iSymphonic.

  • Just a brief opinion here. There seems to be some amazing sounds here. I bought the metal fx to support the development however I do think that the interface and layout isn't well suited and may be frustrating to users that may just want to buy a few packs. It would be nice to have a category of purchased packs in the dropdown sound menu. Shouldn't have to open different categories to search for your purchased sounds - I did even try to use the search bar for Metal FX and nothing showed up seems to be just the sound names. $14.99 doesn't seem like a good price for 22 single sounds in a pack - even by desktop standards. The presets seem to be designed for people willing to drop the full $1100 on the full package which seems way overpriced to me, again even by desktop standards. I am a frequent buyer of Kontakt libraries like Spitfire, Embertone, NI etc. and this model just seems off to me. The samples I heard sounded nice but is just not really worth the price to me. Hoping you success on the new app as I really enjoy the other apps like AudioLayer.

We just started to add short videos to demo all sounds of each package, hopefully we will have all together within a week.
Here is what we have so far:

  • @VirSyn Wow...only 3 Sounds to test with...surely you could offer a Sample pack with 9-12 Presets so we could have a better idea of what this synth can actually do. The 3 included patches do nothing to move me nor inspire me to play with the synth more.

I suppose since this is a joint project they arrived at 3 as a compromise, but it does seem rather scant as a starter.

It's just straight up weird. Especially after what PianoTeq just delivered to potential users on iPadOS. I have no idea what to do with this thing with the sounds it has....

Doesn’t instill much confidence in me that i can’t test out anything to insure i want to buy packs.

It's like buying a car but not being allowed to test drive said car before I sign the check.

    Oh well.

    Money can be used elsewhere.

  • Agreed. I had to delete a lot to download the app and then keeping it for so few sounds and no way to see what the synth is really like to play if I buy packs was a no. So I deleted. Compared to piano teq giving a very generous way to try the app it has actually convinced me after getting a feel for all the sounds that I do want to buy a license and invest in it. I love tera pro, bark filter, and Teraverse and wanted to like this but I’m afraid the offering is really confusing, I almost thought it was an error like with the iaps that there isn’t more sound and and am really surprised to hear it confirmed that it’s so few sounds in combination with taking up so much space on the iPad.

Come on.. if you buy all the sound packs it’s only 18 years of a Logic Pro subscription.

    So Far So Good !!!!!
    Just Excellent !!!!!
Is there a way to transfer my on presets I made to my other iPad ?
    Thank you !!!!!
    By the way
I’ve spend half of the week’s pay
I think a 40-50% discount will bring way more income then the pricing of now
Low pricing makes the money to roll in 😊
Again Thank you for this great tool !!!!!!!
