I am working on it right now. Download the program itself from here:
https://www.ableton.com/en/products/live-lite/
Then, open Gadget, click the file menu (top left) and click "Export". Then click "Ableton Live Project" and then "Get free Ableton Live Lite". It will prompt you to send the registration key to an email account you specify.
Open Gadget
Tap the rectangle in the top left corner (looks like a dog-eared piece of paper)
Tap Export
Tap Ableton Live Project
Tap Get free Ableton Live Lite
frequent out of memory crashes using Bilbao to create a user kit from Dropbox on iPad Air
Thanks a lot, @StormJH1 and @telecharge .
@afta8 yeah, let's hope they'll add folders and swipe to left to delete support
can't seem to save the Abu dabi init patch without it turning into something the total opposite of the init patch
Abu Dahbi consistently crashes Gadget while auditioning the loops.
Have to also say that if I have Auria open and then open Gadget ----> Crash (iPad air/latest etc).
In happier news, I have been enjoying making simple beats in Caustic and then copying them into Bilbao and working from there. Works well, sounds good.

What ipad are you using?
I think there's a memory leak bug
iPad 2, no other gadgets loaded, no other apps in background.
This sounds like ram full up. This is probably why they capped sample time at 5s.
I'm using Korg's own samples. Not even loading them into the Gadget, just previewing them. Even ran memory cleaner first. I have no problem recording and playing back a track using Abu Dhabi- this only happens when I audition the loops.
Has anyone managed to export a loop from iKaossilator into Abu Dhabi? I tried this morning and Gadget won't see the copied audio when I go to import a new sample. I can paste the loop in other apps such as Garageband without issue so maybe the problem is with Gadget itself?
What apps are you guys using to get loops into the samplers directly? Just curious.
Have you tried audioshare, I don't have gadget yet so don't know if it will work
That's the Gadget integration I'd like to see: Audioshare- it's far less futzy than that audio copy, far more connected to other resources and has the sweetest filing system
@LouisP
Gadget works with AudioCopy app. So you will need to transfer the exported audio from iKaosillator to AudioCopy. iKaos.. exports to the general pasteboard rather than transferring the export to AudioCopy. The AudioShare call above is a good one. You can paste the export to AudioShare and then export to AudioCopy. If you then go to either of the Samplers in gadget you can choose AudioCopy 2 as an import option. You get a list of the apps that have pasted to AudioCopy and you can go in and choose the one you want to install.
I've just tried this with iKaos.. and it works fine. It's actually a nice way to get some quick, original source material in for playing around with and trying out the different functions. I think Figure may be even better, given that it has such an easy sequencer.
I wish more apps, including BM2 and Gadget had a direct link to Audioshare the way MTS for iPad has, where it works like the second page of MTS, and everything is file-able, audition-able, edit-able, and up- and down- loadable to all kinds of other apps...
^ yeah, when I said quick I was talking about throwing a loop together in iKaos, not the app-hopping needed to get it in gadget.
Thanks a lot you guys, audioshare did the trick, thru pasting kaoss' output, then recopying as audiocopy 2.
Well crap, I spoke too soon RE: MIDI, or maybe I just jinxed myself...
Working with StepPolyArp as a controller, I do a simple pattern change, and lose all sound except for one track (out of five). I can actually see the notes being played in London because the pads will play, just no sound. Okay, hard reset iPad, try again, fail. Can't even play the pads myself, without the controller. Hard reset again, open just Gadget this time, still no sound! It's like StepPolyArp somehow permanently turned off the sound for this song on 4/5 tracks.
I know MIDI on iPad hasn't always been the most stable of things, but I can usually just set up the connection again and get it to work. Never seen something like this where a song is corrupted.
Any ideas? Aren't there apps out there that supposedly help with MIDI connections?

So I was able to salvage my song for the most part. I reset again and the sound came back, except for London, which was the original track I was working on with StepPolyArp. I added another London, copied the notes, and sound was there. Weird thing is when I loaded the user made kit I was using the sound was gone again. WTF.
Long story short, somehow the user kit in London got corrupted. Fortunately it was just a slight variation of another user kit.
Moral of the story: Make back ups of stuff, because as the truck stop cap says, "Shit Happens".
Bilbo has a wierd bug where user kit gets muted and plays slow and silent and frequent out of memory crashes

Maybe Gandalf can help?
i really like the update, making a few new songs and trying to retool my new samples for abu dhabi's 10sec rule
but i'm still really missing inputs from audiobus and separate midi channels for gadgets. also samplr has totally spoiled me in that alot of my samples are like 40s long or more, and i'd have 6 of them loaded in samplr all running without a problem. if gadget is running out of RAM in abu dhabi / bilbao i'm inclined to think the problem is with gadget, not the 1gb of RAM. korg's got the best interface for an iOS DAW but is still missing some critical features.

Tested out StepPolyArp with another app and switching patterns does not cause the sound to drop.
Thing is in Gadget the sound always drops when I switch patterns in StepPolyArp, but now I am able to bring it back simply by switching the kit. Before that didn't happen.
I'm just going to chalk this silly little episode up to the quirkiness of MIDI on the iPad (running it on an iPad Air with latest iOS). Fortunately I'm just going to be using MIDI to create clips, no live performance or anything. Isn't iOS 8 supposedly going to be better for MIDI? I thought I read that somewhere.
This is probably more information that any of you wanted to know. Too late now, you've read it. Key thing I guess is if sound drops in Gadget while using MIDI, switching the kit or patch might help bring it back.

Sounds like Korg mischief to me.

Nice
I spent some happy hours last night building a track from 4 different Abu instances and a Bilboa custom kit. Plus a couple of Marseille synths.
No crashes at all. (Gadget always crashed with Auria open for me BTW).
Samplr to audioshare to Gadget mostly. (But anything via audioshare seems to work).
Works really well for me. Pure joy.
My only niggle is that Abu can be quite 'clicky' when starting and stoping samples. It's ok with drum loops but with anything else you can notice the start / stop click. They could do with a microfade option like BM2.
Amazing update though. Opens up a while new world.
