Cheaper than a sp404! Surprising!
£299 seems pretty reasonable for what it does - I literally just ordered a po 33 (£82) and not regretting it (yet!).
Be interesting to see if they turn any of the other PO into mk 2 this size. You need bigger pockets now !
Is the USB connection just for power or for file management as well?
64 MB memory not big that would be the only thing I would pick up on.

This plus Koala pairing would be interesting.
Lol from their site…
Cookoo take sounds like this is a first in a line of EP,s Series.
Did PE forget a zero on the price?
so - how many seconds of sound it can store!!??!
this looks really cool and might be the 2nd thing I get from them.
64mb memory across the whole thing. Adds up to a fair bit, but this is clearly a device for instrument and short sample hits, not Akai Force long form audio tracks. Cuckoo mentions the usb can be used for backups, but not clear yet if it can act as an audio interface. Thinking of IOS compatibility…
64mb is aprox one minute but they say they use some sort of compression...
so who knows...
Polyend Tracker mini sales and shares have dipped this afternoon!
Watching the Cuckoo video now. This looks like a hardware Koala, which is pretty amazing
I’ve watched a few YouTube vids now. This thing looks great.
Does look cool... Maybe I like the look of that torso sampler more... But I dunno I don't feel gas for hardware samplers anymore. My iPad mini can outdo them all...
This looks like fun
Last few weeks been looking at op-z and op-1
I slept on a £200 op-z a few days ago, maybe this is fate, and I was supposed to miss that deal, which was 2nd hand, for another £100 I get a new item that just might be what I always wanted, can I use iPad with this?
No update for Op-1 field and TX-6. I’m done with this company.
Came across this
No resampling that I can see. Otherwise, rad.
For my needs, I think having an ipad makes this kind of hardware redundant
stereo / mono sampling at 46.875 kHz / 16-bit: I am not that much interested in samplers, but even if I would want to buy some gear, this would make me cautious. Another sampler with a very odd sample rate, that in the end could be difficult to convert to and fro.
Retro-baiting at its very best. 64mb lmao.
That's a weird sample rate! This looks very nice, I'll be interested to check out the videos, but yeah, that's a weird choice and it makes me pause.
Only interesting and impressive news about it for me is that mine arrives Friday.😋
Dope, and great price!!!
Battery life is said to be around 20 hours.
EDIT. Guide here https://teenage.engineering/guides/ep-133
K.O.II has 9 projects, each with 4 groups, each group has 99 patterns which can be arranged into a total of 99 scenes.
Decent price. Looks like fun. Sample rate doesn't really bother me that much. Weird choice to limit storage to 64mb. However, AAA batteries in 2023? 😂
Seems to have a similar workflow to Koala Sampler, except that Koala can do more. Automation in Koala would be nice, which the KO II clearly has if True Cuckoo's video is anything to go by.
I'll just continue to save money for an OP-1 Field. Nothing else I know of has that particular workflow.
LOL, I love how at check out they have an * that says price excludes field desk. Cheeky buggers.
