Is there a space on your site for uploading them to?
Ps another vote for molten style divisions (IAP maybe?)
I get the loud buzz glitch inside AB with FXs, mostly when loading diode108 first...anyone can confirm it?
Just got this, thanks for the midi compatibility chart, saves a lot of head scratching... Great developer
Edit: please add iTunes file-sharing support for adding samples/kits if this hasn't already been asked for
+1 for stems, increased resolution (1/96 at least?), triplets and while I'm plus one-ing, my earlier request for choke groups. +2 for keeping your product thread alive, vibrant and on the front page for weeks now. The best kind of clever, other developers should take note
Choke works in engine (any instrument chokes any other). Just need a UI for it. Definitely coming "soon".
With all the Korg and Synthmaster commotion, I've been in an app comatose!
Haven't had time to enjoy this app. But so happy I bought it.
1.1.1 has been released
Next release is new features.
Keep up the good work! :-)
Added: looking forward to seeing what these 'new features' will be..
Congrats Team D.
Expansion is nice, consolidation is key.
Thanks. Yeah, we can't always be flashy. :-)
Very excited that people are using Diode-108 to make music!
This page is now crashing my Chrome! (Soundcloud stuff?)
Sorry. Didn't realize that all those links would open their own soundclouds.
Pretty cool that I can crash you without you even running Diode-108, though, huh?
Crashed again before I could answer.
Awesome!
Thanks for the update

Can I put in a vote for state saving as a potential upcoming feature..... ?
I've only just found time to start playing around with Diode and midi in has been working well!
Hey Carnbot, exactly what state pieces do you need?
Do you mean you decide which pieces Audiobus state saving recalls?
I'm not really sure how it works from the developers point of view
I guess the main thing from my point of view is using different kits via midi-in and/or synced patterns with different Audiobus arrangements so you don't have to search/load the kit or load the pattern you were using each time if you are between different projects.
So ability to recall kits and saved song/patterns would be my choice. Midi settings too but I'm not sure if that's possible.
I tend to like jumping between projects so state saving is always appealing to me. I presume it's more work if there are more states to be recalled?
Ah, I understand. I didn't do any of the audiobus implementation so I'm not sure how any of that works. But now I understand what you're looking for and we'll add it to our backlog.
Great, thanks
We're adding a choke feature in Diode 1.1.2. It's a 16x16 choke grid that is available per drum kit. (I think this is WAY cooler than setting up choke groups.)
Normally, the closed hat will choke the open hat, but you can set up anything you want (any instrument can choke any other). Choke works just fine with flams and rolls, which is pretty cool when you have a kit with a lot of hats and a pattern with lot of rolls going on. Imagine a open hat firing off in a fast roll and a closed hat firing off in a slow roll. Sounds really great with very complicated hat pieces.
We've decided to change most of the built-in kits to have choke. This could change the playback of some old songs if they use unaltered built-in kits. If you've made any changes to the kits at all, your song is using a custom kit and won't be affected. If you do have a song using a built-in kit and you'd like to get rid of the choke, go into the choke settings and turn off the choke and your song will play back as it previously did.
We think doing it this way will make things work best in the long run.
There are a couple other features coming in 1.1.2. More info soon!
@Diode108
+1 for audiobus state saving
Haha. Yeah, noted. You realize things coming out now have been in the pipeline a while, right? iOS development unfortunately can't proceed at the pace of web dev, where we can instantly push to servers. :-)
@Diode108
Diode is awesome. Take your time to get it right! Appreciate your presence here!
@Diode108 I'm a choke n00b, but look forward to this. Appreciate your efforts, as ever. Don't burn out over there
Some people don't seem to care at all about choke, and other people think that it's ridiculous to have a drum machine without choke.
I just went in and gave all the built-in kits choke, and it really does make things sound more interesting on the hats.
so.... @Diode108 I uploaded an acoustic kit. Under the Pattern tab, Is there a way to change the description each of the 16 drum names? On the Drum Machine tab, they are still labeled Like Kick Softly, Kick Slapback, Snare Chester and so on. But above each of those it is labeled with the import name I gave it, corresponding to the above 3: Ride tip, Ride Edge, Ride bell, and so on.
So, I can tell on the D. Machine tab what actual drum sound I am manipulating, or sounding off. Under the Pattern tab, I can only see the 16 default names, so if I sequence the 7th one down that says Tom Short, it's actually a China Cymbal edge hit. But I can't tell that from the pattern page. Unless there is something I am missing, could there be an a future update the ability to change the names, so I know what drum part I am sequencing? Otherwise, it's a crap shoot on what I am doing.
Thanks, and........... Still a great app. Love being able to import sounds, and being able to add FX to them. Cool stuff.
@High5denied I'm not quite following. You should be seeing the "friendly" name on the pattern view, in the dropdown menus on the FX view, and on the pads. The "friendly" name is the name in white (below the filename) on the Drum Machine view. To change the friendly name to whatever you want, click on it. You name it by clicking on the VOICE LABEL and choosing a new name. You can do this one at a time, as you import the samples, or all at once after. Forgive us that it's not clear to you.
I might need a screen shot to understand, if that paragraph doesn't help you.
@Diode108, thanks, that's what I needed. Couldn't quite figure out how to do that. Haven't finished reading the manual, having too much fun with it.
Thanks!
