still resisting.... so does this thing have a randomizer outside of the game?
After i slept a bit i remembered that at least the"stopped working out of nowhere"could be a more general IAA problem within cubasis.I saw a couple of other people complaining about this about the latest cubasis version. But most other IAAs work just fine for me so it's hard to tell who to blame here...but i forgot to mention another bug and a major annoyance:it happened a couple of times that the first step of the gater went off after recalling my saved preset.Took me AGES to figure out why the hell i had this huge"latency"when i played with it in cubasis the first time, lol. The annoyance:i appreciate a midi learn function but the popup when you press a knob is too fast. Some knobs are just so small that you need a little more time to grab them in the right angle but the damn learn function will pop in your face if you are too slow (it happened DOZENS of time now).I would like to see an option to deactivate or at least enhance it by a couple of seconds (before it shows up). @Kobamoto: there are too seperate randomizer, one for the wobble knob settings and one for the FX sequencer. Not much but gave me a lot of fun already.
thanks, so what does the game randomizer do?
no sure what exactly.I played it just once out of curiosity. The sound completely changed after hitting certain...cyclops But there was a HUGE difference in sound levels.Don't play this with too much volume It's a nice gimmic but a bit useless to me as a randomizer.
Yes that annoys me too. I also would like to see a overall randomizer, like Sunrizer and Animoog have!
Sugar Bites: PLEASE ADD HOT KEYS TO THE NEXT UPDATE (like the desktop version has)
Email them, please! I email them got no response return! Don't expect SB see this forum!
i second this (regarding mail).
will the broken quotes ever get fixed?
Thanks, will do that!
Btw I mis the hold button. The keyboard needs some improvement too. Scales would be nice!
Sugar Bytes reply:
thanks for your email and your interest in our Cyclop!
To be honest the different colors don't represent certain functions but
when any robot comes through it just plays a tone in any way.
.....still waiting for a sale...
me, too, however, it's still pretty soon since release, and sugarbytes does not typically have dramatic price drops.
if i really, really, wanted it, i'd just buy it now. i'm waiting to see if a sale ever goes low enough to make it interesting to me.
Any ideas how i can delete own presets?
I didn't find a way either, it hopefully will be possible with the next update (sugarbytes know about the preset-recall-bug, and are on it...)
they know about the bug, yes, but not being able to delete own presets is another story i guess. The black list is getting longer and longer,i have to send them another mail
please let us know what they say
I've been setting any midi controller to hold a note and pass it to Cyclop, knob tweaking fun can be had when a key is pressed down...
okay so who's still ecstatic about Cyclops and who held off from getting it?
@Kobamoto
It is still very unique! I will waiting the Auria Pro's midi track to play much of the Cyclop. I am learning Bias FX and amp right now to play guitar and bass apps. Cyclop is stylish!
^^^ For me too. ...
Auria Pro will un-pause a lot!
Im holding for a sale
I want it still, but there's no way I'm going to pay nearly twenty quid for it though. I'll have it at the next sale.
I'm holding out for a sale as well, but all the use I could have already had of it is nagging me, I thought maybe there would be a memorial day sale but nope so whens the next sale?
Holding out. Partly as proof that I can. Quite proud of my weak self. Of course, buying everything else that's been on the table of late makes me feel a little like a coke fiend with two straws up his nose fondly remembering how he once turned down a beer, but it's still an expensive beer at that....
Me too - it'd fit perfectly into a project I have on the go at the moment, though by not buying it it's forcing me to concentrate on other stuff, such as learning Auria and Gadget.
I'm quite impressed I've held out too, once I get bored with Auria and Gadget stuff though I can see my resolve dissolving. I reckon another month and I'll cave in.
I don't regret succumbing when it came out, I had a lot of fun in the meantime! (a lot a lot)
I have a dull business trip to Amsterdam coming up (the business being dull, not the town) and I have already made a deal with myself that when Mrs. Goodyear wanders off at the Austin airport to buy the four or five glossy mags she always needs to get through a long flight I will spend the equivalent (or less on our one-eyed friend. Pity the person sitting in the middle seat....
You could try one of these Mr Goodyear, they seem quite portable.
Oh you mean Cyclop, now I get it.
