Cheers @thesoundtestroom I'm not into this but reposted the link on iOS musician FB page like 4 times.
@Matt_Fletcher_2000 just screenshot'ed it and added a caption, feel free to share ;-)
@ChrisG I don't see that issue - all seems fine here? Loads of expansions available and in Gadget slide the little icon across to reveal more. Am I missing something?
Typical Korg quality by the way. Not just ALL the classic sounds from yester-year but you can dive deep into the settings and cool integration with Gadget. I love playing multiple M1's a setup.
Nope. Some people are having this issue, others not. I'm not sure what's causing it. I've tried everything, except deleting/reinstalling Gadget (which would be a pain to do at this point)
No Kaos pad in Gadget (Darwin). Just in the main iM1 app. Never mind .
Some of the orchestra sounds sound nice, from the little go I had. Need to investigate more tonight.
I don't know if manual link was posted before:

How is the performance on ipad4?
yeah, yeah :-)
Performance is ok on ipad4...no problems so far.
TBH... I would have been very happy with, say, midi out. Or something on effects.
Guess it's another 6 month wait for an update .
That is good news because it was a major shortcoming of the hardware M1 in my opinion (and others).
I just sold my M1, all the cards and a Cannon Frontal Lobe co-sequencer last year that I purchased new in 1988. So, I guess I really do NEED to buy the iM1.
This is a fantastic app. Now would Roland kindly make an iMC909 for our beloved iPad.
I can't get the expansion to show up in Gadget no matter what I do (haven't deleted/installed gadget tho). I'm getting this, can someone show I screen of the expansion cards working in gadget (press the home+power buttons at the same time on your iPad to make a screen grab, press attach file here on the forum and upload the pic from your photo album)?
Here Ya go Chris.
@Tritonman Thanks!
I'm guessing all the people that have this issue will either have to delete and reinstall Gadget (which sucks if you have a lot of user presets) and install and restore the apps in the correct order. Or, wait for a Gadget update that fixes it.
Here you Go @ChrisG
iPad Air 2, iOS 8.3.
Just remember to save the Programs you tweak in iM1 in on the shared 'Library' cards to make them accessible to Gadget.
Also worth noticing is that only 'Programs'(No Combis or Multis) are shared to Gadget's Darwin...
I have not looked into what a multi is yet. What is the difference between multi and combi?
@Tritonman, check the manual few posts above this one...
Thank you! Much appreciated Sir.
After browsing multi explanations still not clear but I am really digging the large effects section available on this iOS version .
It's a really great addition to the Gadget arsenal, SOOOO many useful sounds right at your fingertips. And a clean and simple interface that makes it easy to find what you are looking for.
Does Darwin include the iM1 insert effects?
Multi is typically for different midi channels...eg a multitrack sequencer...one patch per midi channel..
Thanks @Samu , Yep I got the Library part (I wonder why Korg didn't just use the "user preset" cards instead) and those preset do show up in Gadget as well. It's just that a bunch of people incl. me didn't get the IAPs to show up in Gadget, and I'm guessing it's related to in what order you updated, opened the apps, purchased the IAPs etc..
There are both 'Library' and 'User' cards in iM1.
The 'Library' cards are shared between iM1 'Sessions' while the 'User' cards are stored within the 'Session'(Use File Menu to create a new 'Session' similar to Gadget).
For now 'Session' seems to bee a snapshot of the iM1 settings, patches and 'state' of the App. This is very useable for using with external sequencing (I Wish iOS SoundCanvas had this feature too..).
It does say 'Work Station' in all the screenshots so maybe we'll get a built-in Sequencer too some day
Now, bring on the Korg iWS
Regarding my 'Installation order' of Gadget and iM1.
Updated Gadget but did not start it after update.
Downloaded iM1 and purchased the IAPs. After that I quit the iM1 app before I launched Gadget and was asked if i wanted to install the new Gadget. So far no issues at all, and Air 2 seems to handle at least a dozen of iM1's at once without hiccups...
And yepp, the 'insert FX' are present in Darwin too, at least that's what my ears tell me
Here’s some “reviews” of the Korg T1 — some understandable, some a baffling word salad of normal words.
If there’s drum sounds in the iM1, I wonder if they’re the same sample+synthesis roots as the truly tortuous Korg S3 rhythm workstation I used to own.
Did the same as you except that I started the gadget update and then paused it for the M1 app download and afterwards I finished the gadget update and everything went ver smooth here also.
I bought the IAP in iM1 AFTER I had checked out Darwin in Gadget. You guys bought the IAPs before launching Gadget (and getting the install popup). So prolly that that messes up a lot of people's iM1 IAP/Gadget installations..
(1). Gadget already installed, (not open).
(2). Downloaded iM1, played around with it for 10 minutes.
(3). Then opened Gadget, (whilst iM1 was open).
(4). Questioned about intergration etc. (preseds yes of course).
(5. Played around with Darwin in Gadget.
(6). Then installed top IAP's, tested them.
(7). Then downloaded 2nd IAP's.
All is well...
Weird. Oh well, hope Korg can find out what the issue is.
