@satoshiszk Currently I’m not seeing any of my instruments in the side rack instrument VST/ AU ? I’m on the latest version 1.10.0 and I tried the store version of sidet-rack and the TestFlight beta ipad app with same results no instruments showing what’s happening?
If I scroll through the list all I’m seeing is AU effects under instruments?

We've verified this on our test device and found that instruments like Mariana, Laplace, and Zeeon are displaying correctly in the list. To help resolve your issue, please try these steps:

@satoshiszk Hi thanks for getting back I’m still only seeing effects under the Siderack instrument VST / AU in Bitwig and Logic on Mac I checked the blacklist and it’s not that and have restarted my iPadPro which hasn’t helped.
Currently I’m not seeing any instruments listed see screenshots. I’m on latest iPad OS 18 and the latest store version of the app.

Regarding potential solutions, could you please try the following methods and let me know the results:
Uninstall the Duo application
Removing the Duo app will also delete all related app data, including blacklists. Reinstalling it from the App Store might resolve the issue. Don't worry, as plugin orders and parameter settings are saved on your Mac-side DAW and won't be affected.
Factory reset
Given that the problem isn't occurring on other devices, a factory reset of your iPad might be the most effective solution. Be sure to back up your data and follow the steps in Apple's documentation. After the factory reset, before restoring from your backup, try installing only Duo and one of the problematic instrument plugins on the clean system to see if it appears in the list.
Since the issue isn't present on other devices and the cause isn't immediately clear, your cooperation is crucial in resolving this problem. I appreciate your assistance.
@satoshiszk Hi thanks for getting back. I’m on a iPad M1 Pro 256 GB. 11inch. I’m using the latest iPad OS 18. Currently no instruments are showing at all just effects apps and these instruments that provide effects.
I will try deleting and restoring the app on my iPad and VST/ AU on my computer.
However I’m against factory resetting my iPad as have an awful lot of apps and data that would talk a long time to put back and restore which I haven’t got.
If I can’t resolve this our be looking for a refund as the product clearly is not fit currently for purpose and doesn’t do what it’s meant to in the advertisement.
@Jumpercollins Thanks for providing the device info. We'd appreciate if you could provide a specific list of product names that aren't displaying. (e.g. Mariana, Zeeon, and Laplace) If there are too many apps and it's difficult to make a list of all products, it's okay to provide just a few examples. This will allow us to test these products in our environment and verify if we encounter the same issues. Your input is valuable in helping us identify and resolve this problem.

Currently, Duo only has the functionality of SideRack Server, but we plan to add MIDI controller capabilities within November. For more details, please see this thread.
Along with the release of the MIDI controller, we also plan to release a new version of SideRack. This update will mainly enhance the GUI:

@satoshiszk, I’m having some problems with getting SideRack modulators that are attached to automatable parameters to function correctly. Specifically, filters and osc types in Zeeon. Also, Magellan 2 is behaving strangely. The controls cannot be changed in the AUv3 GUIs or are frozen. They are rendered to a limited 50% range or 0% range! Is this likely to be a SideRack issue or a problem with the synth apps? Thanks

This behavior seems to be related to the GUI implementation of these synth apps. While I’m not sure if it’s intentional or a bug, it appears these synths don’t allow adjustments to knobs while automation or modulation is active.
To address this, we’re considering adding generic knobs to the Duo app, which would allow you to control synth parameters without relying on the synths’ GUI.
In the meantime, a possible workaround is to delete the modulation for the parameter you want to adjust, tweak it manually, and then recreate the modulation afterward.

I’ve bought Siderack today… and now I have some problems. On my system, it doesn’t work with Moog Model D and Animoog Z.
(I’m using Nuendo on a new Mac Mini)
In Animoog, the internal ARP is always enabled, and all effects. In every preset. And many of the parameters can’t be changed and aren’t saved. ARP can be disabled, the other effects can’t. And after reloading, ARP is on
Model D is even stranger- I can change presets, but the sound (almost) stays the same. Other synths like Tera Pro or Tomofon seem to work and are stored correctly.
Any ideas??

It would be very interesting to know if the problem might be Cubase/Nuendo specific.
No problem. I've just tried another MAC at work with Reaper, and the problem remains the same!
Apart from that, I have to check if the Animoog Z app sends MPE - and if so, how I could record midi data from SideRack with Cubase/Nuendo.
I've written to the support.
I've tried every version from 1.7 on, but the problem might be the iOS app.
They even have a photo of Animoog Z on their website (without activated Arp), so it must worked before.
Edit: Support sees the problem and is working on it.

Just checking this out now. I have it working in Reaper which is amazing.
How does transport work? I can’t get Rozeta Bassline to play as it doesn’t respond to Reaper transport and doesn’t have its own internal transport like Atom Piano does. Does Siderack have a transport control for plugins?
@azul3D_Apps Piano Motifs crashes the app so it would be amazing if you and the Novonotes dev team could work that one out. Yours is the main app I’m interested in! 🙏
Also, has anyone got MIDI out from Siderack working in Reaper?
I have a 2017 iMac Pro and a 4th generation iPad Air and this runs so poorly that it's been essentially unusable. The connection is unstable, there has been crashing and so much latency. I had run the demo, so I guess it's my fault but was intoxicated by the possibility and pulled the trigger too quick I guess.
iPad Air 4 is running fine here, I guess the bottleneck is your Mac then or some other issue with your connection.
I hope the developers will continue to work on this fantastic app, fix the problems it has with some apps and I would love to finally see auv3 audio multiout and a flexible midi mapping between auv3s.
Yeah, I’ve had some disconnections as well. It’s so close to being awesome…

I had a lot of connection problems, but it all had to do with the not really working Moog instruments (when used).
At the moment it works fine. I only wonder if it's possible to use an arpeggiator with a tight synchronisation? I have the one from BLEASS, and the timing is a bit weird.
