Ok it’s letting me update now so I can check this for myself.
Well, here I go. I guess I have to update today...
Thanks! Great ideas
I'm really nervous to get iOS 11... I'm not sure why yet
Go straight to iOS11.1

Wow. This drum kit is amazing.
Probability of playback per step!!
Note repeat per step
Playback direction per instrument
This is a great update

Yes. It’s ridiculously good!

Individual note duration per instrument and lane length are there too...
Guess they saved 'tuning' and 'user samples' for a future update
Yep. We have the perfect drum machine in Garage Band now
Yes, I was miffed I could not run it on my Air. I'm back to Cubasis and happier now but once I get a larger iPad I'll probably get it again. Going to be awhile because I'm saving for the new Korg Pa700.
I guess you've also downloaded all the 'extras'? Loads of sounds there to play with
One area I've almost forgotten in Garageband is 'Live Loops', total blast!
It can even record the midi-events to the time-line while 'performing' for further editing...
(Now give me the detailed controller/automation editing options already hehe).
Fantastic. Now I have to rethink everything, dammit!
Wow it’s looking/sounding great for my short time playing it.... But can it export midi..
Or, can any other Drum machine (ios) do this with midi export?
Super EZ to come up with great beats...
Edit, can Maschine do this..?
Oh YEAH
Gadget, Gimme Gadget (and more Gadgets hahaha).
Maybe this Friday?
update worth it
Disappointed that there is no improvement in this area - lots of great goodies for sure though to counter this.
One thing I do is to select the 'guitar'(with amps and all) and then drag AppleLoops or other audio to that track.
Even a microphone thru the guitar amps and effects can yield some interesting results
Sure it would be nice to use those effects on other GB instruments.
AUv3 effects can also be used which kinda saves the day in the end...
Does this still not have AB though?
Ok... A new standard?
And now With MIDI out, AU drum sequencers should be able to work the same way
It can be loaded as an audio output destination only. Still.
How about a great Acoustic Guitar Strummer with real strums.
That would be worth some € $£¥
I couldn't even find some of my favorite sounds in the full Logic Pro X Alchemy version, so that seems unlikely.
Cool, how many kits are coming with it? Can you exchange single sounds or just change kits?
24 bit? what the big deal? is it higher quality sound, or faster processing? I am still learning. what should i be looking for and setting my Daw’s at?
Is there a guitar multi-fx AU3 plugin which people can recommend?
Me too, but my iPads are on the edge of compatibility (Air1 and Mini2) and the updates seem to be in the "nice to have" category.
That update propelled Garageband to the top again. Awesome piece of software.
Still not midi mapping for live loops (or almost the playlist of them) so makes it still unreliable for live gigs where hands are busy...
