  • Sounds great Dave!

  • One jet lag was all it took to hit that button, sigh ...

Anyway, here's my first Gadget song! PS: Being able to drag scenes up or down would make things a lot easier.

  • @badmaxton You can drag scenes up and down. Just long press on left side where scene number is until you see black line running thru scene, and move up or down.

That's great, thanks for the hint!

  • I just picked Gadget up, and I must say that I'm impressed! I had nearly everything figured out in 10 minutes. Pretty simple to use! I think it will add to my kit nicely! I don't think I would use it for full songs, but as a scratch pad or as a tool for creating parts to import into my songs, I think it will work really well! :-)

  • This app is way too addictive! Made some dub/reggae thing this time, was supposed to be a chip tune first but dunno what happened. :) Again no outside processing/mixing, so pls watch your ears..

Good app resistance skills - I folded on day one!

    I made another mess!.. :(

Btw, is it just me or have soundcloud gotten worse sound compression? Never thought about it before really, but noticed when I uploaded a track yesterday via GadgetCloud that it sounds kinda like a 96kb/s mp3 file.

  • Good stuff. Love hearing these creations.

Can't wait to see what this update has up its sleeve.

  • App Jam with Wolfsburg

  • Humor: Here's a suggestion for a new Lo-Fi Gadget for Korg to add ;-)

  • I'm new here but have been lurking for a while on this excellent forum.

I thought people might be interested in my efforts at using the fantastic Guitarism to play acoustic guitar in Gadget. It's a great combination I think.

And to add to the discussion - Gadget - wow... For me it's transformed making music on the ipad because of the incredible overall user experience and the sound possibilities.

One question: I want to make simple loops that I can paste in Audioshare and then import into Sector. But when I tried making a simple one bar loop, it copied with a long tail at the end when it got into Audioshare. Is there any way to cut a loop off at the end of the bar, without having to trim in Audioshare later?

Late arrival to the Gadget & iOS 7 party.

...looks like I've got a few posts to read. :)

Anybody wanna post their #1 tip/trick before I wade through this ocean of info? Cheers :)

  • @Simon oh really? I thought I had till the end of the month...that woulda hurt, especially as the upside of my iOS7 acquisition was, ' at least I can buy Gadget & Swoopster now!'

AWESOME!!! That was REALLY COOL!!!! Hahaha! Thumbs up! :-)

  • @Michael_R_Grant - have you tried turning off effects first? The tail is a feature, ends when effects tail finally dies out. No option to not include the tail.

  • 25% off and time running out on the sale is enough for me to finally cave on Gadget even though I can't use it yet. Hopefully I'll soon get the latest device to run all these great iOS 7 only apps.

Thanks for all of the tips, tricks, videos, and tracks that have been provided here.

  • @Michael_R_Grant that is, turn off the reverb on the mixer.

My #1 tip would be that if you turn off loop mode, you can record across multiple sections. So you can set up a chord sequence in one section, duplicate that a few times and then solo over that to your heart's content! Keeps me happy anyway...

  • Is it the 24th yet?

obviously depends on where you are...

...and I assume OminlimbO was referring to the upcoming update (including AB support) rather than the price hike...

  • oops, sorry, not sure about AB (wish) but an update has been announced for late february (they said it would coincide with the end of the sale earlier).

  • I really need to upgrade my iPad.
