Thanks for letting us know! Was waiting for some new signature presets.
You're welcome. I wish all of these presets could be downloaded IN THE APP so all of the acrobatics we have to go through to get updates could be avoided. If IK Multimedia would get on the ball and offer their software through the desktop App Store, none of this would ever be an issue.
Version 1.5.0. is out:
You can access the new IAPs from the Reverb effects section but the In-App Purchase window that appears is blank for me. Anyone else tried this?
Maybe it just takes time for the IAPs to propagate across the globe?!
The 'new' Sunset IAP is not even listed in the Apple AppStore, only the full unlock...
Good point, I was mainly interested in what they were going to cost. Downloading the desktop version now to see if they are also an IAP in there.
Edit: also, my net connection is on a go-slow today so it could just be that.
Nah, it's not that. It's just another not so well planned release from our friends over at IK...
Ah! It will be interesting to see what they decide to charge. The desktop IAP is 49.99 EUR, on sale from 79.99 EUR. I guess there is a chunk of code from the full product https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trsunsetsound/?pkey=t-racks-single-sunset-sound in there.
Thankfully this update didn't mess anything as far as I've noticed.
Read somewhere that it'll be $19.99 IAP for the SunSet reverbs (5 modules) but I think I'll pass on those...

maybe I'll get them when they are at $3

Yah, typical IK first release. Broken. No quality assurance department at that company.
I made a duplicate of all my presets for MixBox on macOS before updating. Fortunately, the desktop version of the software works fine. No deletions. This whole thing is making me feel sick to my stomach. I wasted weeks going back and forth with IK Multimedia trying to fix their last major update, which was finally fixed and it has performed well since.
Another company which would hugely benefit from allowing outside beta testers.
OK… It just so happens I forgot to turn off automatic app updates on my iPad so MixBox CS automatically updated… however, I had no major issues with this update. Everything is still there. No deletions. Only thing now is it reacts slowly to preset changes. It’s now more sluggish.
If anyone lost all presets, contact IK Multimedia to see if your particular case can be addressed.
on iOS it`s not that difficult 😉
Right. It's not terribly difficult.
Unfortunately we can confirm an issue with the new in-app purchases. We’ve been in contact with Apple about this and have given us a case number. They anticipate fixing this issue “within a day” (their words) at best. We’ve done everything correctly from our end, but ultimately it is Apple who distributes the apps and in-app purchases and who must fix this one.
@IK_Multimedia if I bought the full version before the change to IAP will the sunset reverb be included?
No, unfortunately not
I guess since I already have the Sunset Reverb Collection in my T-RackS 5 on desktop there's nothing to concern myself about this change.
Although you could tell us what you think of it pretty please?
I quite like it on desktop; good variety and really nice quality to my ears. Fairly tweakable too…
It's pretty neat, with a load of old-fashioned sounding room and plate reverbs. If you're looking to create the Beach Boys vibe, I guess it's the collection to get. Honestly, I've gone through all of the available effects in the collection and haven't found a use for any of them yet. But I might. They're just not as pristine as a digital reverb, which is what I usually prefer.
Still no IAP for the Sunset things...
...just a grey screen, well done IK
I can see the IAP prices on the AppStore and it makes it even more 'confusing'?!
A few posts up IK mentions that there’s an issue with the IAP’s (on Apples end, so they say).
I’m still on version 1.2 with no plans at all on updating 🤷🏽♂️
Exactly. What does "Upgrade to Full" even mean? Is "Full" the same as "Everything", including the Sunset Sound collection?
Maybe, but actual testing would have discovered this issue before release
And… with IAP actual testing is not possible! This is on Apple for failing to provide an adequate test environment.
