@jon_bell Do you need beta testers? Happy to assist with that, if so! Very excited for this but definitely want you to take your time to get it right and feel good about what you’ve made. It’s a fantastic app!

Definitely! If anybody wants to help out please let me know.

As I mentioned, the save file system doesn't work yet so you would temporarily lose access to any saved riffs you've got at the moment.

Yes please. I have the app already but be cool to try out this dope new version. iPad 2018 iOS 15.6.

  • I can beta test for you. I’m almost exclusively on iPhone and would love to help from that perspective.

  • how useful is it to test while on the iOS 16 beta?

Oh man, had a rush today! Riffler is awesome :)

This is just a start. I captured about 10 riffs in the same key with different settings, and intend to make a Metal/Drum & Bass track.

PS: I wish the tail of the recordings would be 2 bars, instead of 1...

    Sounds great! B)

The samples are all 2 seconds long so the maximum tail on a note would be 1 bar at 120bpm. I did want longer tails but the overall file size was getting out of control.

Yea, definitely want to keep size and cpu usage to a minimum.

  • Thanks for the beta testing volunteers! I'm not going to be taking on anymore testers now.

Jonathan Bell has kindly given beta testers permission to share media from the beta test on the condition that we remind viewers/followers that this is a beta version and that the version you are seeing is not currently available.
I wanted to share how awesome it is being able to have multiple instances of the audio unit running, one of the new synth sounds, and the new Endless riff feature.

    Holy 🐄 … 🤤

  • Yea I saw that. I’m fine either way really, but it’s nice to know how the developer wants to handle it.

  • Since midi hasn't been implemented yet in the Riffler beta I used Midi Guitar 2 to convert the audio from Riffler's new Audio Unit to midi. There is a little lag, but I was very excited to hear it working. The future of Riffler looks very bright!

  • Is the AU out anywhere in the world yet ?

Supposed to be released today right???

  • Version 2 now live.

  • Instant inspiration.

  • Oh yes! He did it! It's iOS 11 now
Since i'm stuck at iOS12, this is a blessing.
I only had Riff Writer (Riffler's dad/grand dad )

    Going to buy it now!
