@echoopera is a music magician
I really just need panning and some sort of song mode or method and I’ll be good
😂😂
Wishful thinking on my part? What’s funny I don’t get it
Panning.
When they get "drop to Push3 Standalone over wifi" then they will be way ahead of everything else in the space, imo. I don't know of another Standalone "music making box" like the Akai where you can drop sets directly over from a mobile app?

I like how they’re adding a main mixer channel with 2 master fx but still no panning. Is panning just considered “old” these days? Oh well
fwiw, you have Panning available at the instrument Rack level...so I am sure Panning could be added at the Mixer level. You should let them know...I'll ping them as well. Feature request submitted.
Exactly! And song mode is the same kind of long-running joke over at Elektronauts. 👍
fwiw: The app is just over a year old...so there's a lot more to do...but I am finding it quite nice to use how it is built to date for creating sketches before finishing in Ableton.
I'm just happy to see Ableton here on iOS ya know The future is looking bright imho.
For as much $h1t as ableton was getting when the app dropped, they are showing that they are working on it constantly. They have open beta's, release notes for those beta's that they share publicly, etc. For a "big name company" they are being very open, IMO.
Oh snap, midi mapping!
pretty weird to show the beta like this. not really how Ableton likes to do things.
Not really. You can sign up for the Ableton Live Beta and get the same sort of info on its evolution as well.
I don’t understand why invest in piano roll development. We have plenty of piano-rolls. What I would love would be simpler as an AU
>
Public beta is public. 🙂
Guess only time will tell. I don’t know anything about Elektronauts
At the instrument rack level? I see no panning anywhere, if it’s already there somewhere cool, but I can’t find it. Not sure what you mean about the instrument rack.
I see it for the individual pads in a drum kit but it would be nice to pan synths🤷♂️
Oh you know what, my bad...the PAN function is only available on Drum Racks...not on synths or Sampler based instruments.
Except it stopped being a joke when Elektron actually delivered it, on all 3 digi boxes.
And that only took "how long"?
Man… Note is the gift that just keeps on giving.
I hope one day it can be a host but that might complicate things too much.
Agreed. I think opinions are warming up more now but I’ve been a fan since the start. But I like that they’re constantly improving it and it comes with some really nice factory content. I don’t even use ableton but as a nice little groovebox, it’s fun.
MPE would be a killer upgrade to Ableton note since most of the instruments are MPE enabled.
I have no interest in a song mode. It's a sketchpad to finish in the Ableton live.
yeah, if your on the beta team. Usually when on the beta team you don't post beta updates to social media. Thats what i was always told when helping out, even NDA's in some cases.
It’s been a minute since I was involved with Ableton as a trainer/tester but I never saw any NDA.
not specifically Ableton but in general it can happen, personally fabfilter for me always dished out a NDA, but usually you don't post beta stuff on social, just my experience.
It’s the Ableton Dev who posted it. Has been for a while.
