It’s interesting. I watched this vid, looks very useful.

  • A nice replacement for the defunct Beatformer.

  • Knock was inspired by Decap’s sample pack series “Drums That Knock”, he also runs and curates a label called “Future Knock”

I have the desktop version, anytime I felt I used a weak kick or snare and needed to replace it, this does the trick

    Instabuy

woulda be a instabuy at $10-15, and a maybe buy at 20-25... but 39.99 (canadian) - i can wait awhile for a sale and user reviews...

  • @JanKun @richardyot Beatformer is dead? Haven’t used it in a bit, but it’s on a few tracks on my old iPad Pro running iOS 13

    €35,99.. good luck.

  • SAAY WHAAAT???
Been buying everything that showed up over the last few years but I’m done. Either they bring a proper DAW to the system where I can use these plugins with this ‚new price’ scheme or it’s a no buy from me.

  • Still a bargain compared to desktop.

  • We do need a quality DAW port though.

Like it's been said on the "Magic Delay" thread, "we" said "we" want desktop class prices for desktop class apps… but, in fact, we now see that it won't be that easy B) .

I think I'm quite happy that the prices increase arrives on the iPad's music app market because I have bought WAY TO MANY apps that I know I won't ever use… now, I know that I won't be tempted anymore… and at this new price level, even on sale, I'll surely buy only a very few apps that could really be "game changier" for me B)

  • Yay! I’m actually happy to see prices in this range. This means a few things:
    1. Professionals are starting to migrate to iOS
    2. Because of #1, desktop developers are seeing opportunities to make money on iOS
    3. This is just the beginning of the paradigm shift to mobile music making. Being trapped in a studio to make music is truly becoming a past time.

Agreed can see a few more coming over in 2023.

We getting to the point where effect apps cost more than the DAW you are using them in! Definitely need a pro DAW port.

Yes Beatformer was bought out by Facebook and vanished from the App Store, I think it's even gone from the purchased list, so it won't survive a device upgrade.

    Great point 😂

  • Bring on Logic already...
...then again I might just stay on the Desktop and treat the iPad as a 'sound module'.

I completely AGREE!! It’s time for this change and I completely support this pricing

Yepp, Beatformer is gone from the purchased list as well...

Different thing Knock is a Transient Shaper.
TB Enhancer is a Frequency Enhancer/Exciter.
