Icegear are doing a good job upgrading all their apps to be apple silicon MacBook compatible

Agreed and they make some of my fave synths - win!

@Cambler really good point. There’s been way more innovation in this space imo, so the prospect of more iOS stuff showing up to desktop has huge potential. Fun times!

Sure is. I've gone from "oh nice", to being really excited by Logic's arrival on the smaller screen. Might just have to hold off a week or so to start my free month when semester finishes. It's hard enough marking essays, let alone when Logic is staring at your from your iPad screen saying things like, "a 5 minute break won't hurt you." Smash cut to a bearded man humped over his portable device 3 weeks later.

I've been watching a few videos on Logic this last week or so, this one I thought was particularly good. One thing that stood out: Logic on the Mac obviously makes use of multicore, so it's reasonable to assume the same will apply on the iPad:

ARA 2 is definitely in the top 3 requests in Ableton Live beta or any Ableton live forum. Would make using Melodyne so much more fun in Ableton.

Perform a full shut down and restart. Should clear it up?

No luck. And if I minimize and go back in it crashes.

Another suggestion and one which might be a pain… completely delete it and reinstall.

Did but did't work. Ahh well, just wanted to see if when I slide images around I can ease in and out as Luma does not have that yet. Could be an issue with the server and it is sideloading.

  • FCP hanging for me as well..that product may have some problems with Resolve having a free version on iPad

  • Sounds like FCP on the iPad has quite a few limitations compared to the desktop, more so than Logic it seems like.

Same here, I however deleted Resolve before downloading FCP and Logic. Pretty frustrating, have been restarting and deleting several times. Well, good to see I'm not alone knowing a fix will come :)

Yeah, I was afraid of that after watching the Apple promo video for FCP. No image stabilization :'(
I'll keep watching its development, but I'm not jumping in yet. I think I'll wait on Logic as well, I have both on desktop and I'm not in a hurry.
