I was the one who put up the “NO CLICK BAIT” post a few days ago.
Yeah, be interesting to see if Logic supports multicore, the difference between multi and single core performance, between my Air 4 and the latest M2’s isn’t that great. Not the case with multi core though.
If it’s reliant on lots of RAM and multi core, the older Air’s will struggle.
Seriously? You can’t afford $5/month? I suspect if you’re like most here, you’re already spending more than that a week on plug-ins.
It's funny that the one thread that stuck was the one with the three-letter acronym that I didn't understand at first 😛
I can't believe we've gone from 'potentially 2025' to 'May 23rd' in the space of a few days!!
Now… when are all the desktop plugin makers falling in line and bringing their top tier synths and effects to iOS?
I’m looking at YOU, Cherry Audio.
Hope so since you’re about the only forum member who uses it.

I guess now we'll all be paying Apple US$50 per year for the rest of our lives... LOL
The thing is, in the "stingy" profile that is the regular iOS user, maybe this is not has a huge impact.
But in the real world, this is a brutal CRASH for a music production.
There are others. And I’ve always found that very odd that more people have not taken advantage of it more.
Seems like the included "Beat Breaker" tool will have some of the time-morphing playbacks we find in Sector.
$4.99 per month beginning may 23
COME ON ABLETON , YOU CAN DO IT TOO
How much is the iPad required to run it… ?
Less than a hamburger or cup of Starbucks.
It's not a question of money. I don't do software subscriptions for philosophical reasons...but let's not get into that discussion again...
I don't buy either of those.
Less than a dollar a week for a major DAW is good value.
I was just going to post the same thing
What do you think about it?

So, bye bye Cubasis… what else can I uninstall.
Do you have cable TV?
I'm enjoying this image personally. Look at that top slider showing 44 tracks! I'm going to assume this is nicely optimised for multi-core processing based on that! A couple of sends per track, AUv3s confirmed, sidechain routing, TrackStacks (submix groups), the 4/4 time signature suggests others are available... it's all very exciting!
No subs at all. Except for car road service.
Subscription, i’ll pass on this .. imagine after 10 years of using you payed to apple $500
You know, since I’ve been testing Logic Pro on desktop, I noticed that I now have access to Logic Pro options in GarageBand. I wonder if that’ll be the case on iOS also. It is amazing this has finally happened on iOS.
Absolutely everything is wrong on subscription.
Don’t think so, it that would be the case they would already communicate it.
Hopefully this will force Korg to update their apps to AUV3. Come on Korg. You can do it.
I hate subscriptions as much as the next person, but will pay $50 a year for this without even thinking twice. Even just to finally have a great true physical modeling synth on iOS - Sculpture - it is so worth it for me. And as others have mentioned, this will bring a flood of new people to iOS. It might be hard for some of the less capable iOS devs - they’ll have to up their UI and UX experiences. That to me, as a user who cares a lot about UI / UX, is a great thing. There will still be plenty of room for niche devs - look at M4L on Ableton - as long as their apps are good enough.
I’m curious what the UI / UX experience of Logic Pro itself will be like. I’d expect it will be pretty damn good. Super fucking stoked about this!!!
