  • It’s a shame there’s no drag and drop in this now that Logic Pro has a file browser. It’s the sort of app you want to quickly audition samples as you build a kit.
Does Klevgrand ever read here? Is it worth me trying to contact them?

I don't think I ever seen a representative here so no, but, yes always on contact.

Great! I’ve emailed them so 🤞

EDIT: ignore this - it seems to be a problem across Logic Pro for me. Very odd.

I’ve also noticed if I use the ‘add audio’ button in the slot edit dialogue, I then can’t select any files.
Anyone else seeing this? It might have already been mentioned.

I made a drum kit with my custom samples but every time I open it from my saved presets it tells me that slots are currupted.

I’m getting this whenever I bring my own samples in, then reload the project. Nearly every time.

I’m not saving the kit into Oneshot, just changing a couple of samples in an auv3 instance.

Anyone getting this? Have you reported it?

only had oneshot for a week or so, and only tried importing a few samples and saving one kit - but I did get that message too. I haven't investigated more - figured it was something I didn't do right. Hopefully someone here has an answer...

You should report it to Klevgrand even if others have. I have seen other people mention running into it. The more data points Klevgrand has the better.

I’ve reported the bug through the Klevgrand website. Might be worth you doing the same if you’ve got a moment.

It’s a shame as I love the features of this app and want it to be my go to drum app in Logic.

I did report it to Klevgrad. I had a lengthy exchange with support. The short if it is they told me to move my samples to the Oneshot folder. I reply I don't have one. They told me to open the stand alone version and export some presets and it did create the folder.

Now I have to test moving my samples in that folder but I been too busy with other stuff to try it.

Ah nice one. I’ve just exported my test kit which has also created the folder, so let’s see if that makes any difference on its own. If not I’ll try moving the samples into that folder.

  • @yellow_eyez

I got Oneshot a while back.
It is the best sounding acoustic drum sampleback app on iOS right now.
I'm definitely going to be using it in my productions in future.
    Thanks for the recommendation.

    Likewise brother.

  • Is their a way to trigger two samples from one trigger (midi note). I want to have Linmdrum adding to a accoustic kit. I use midi beats I bought, I don't want to double all the midi note to trigger both kits.

I hope I am being clear. Not sure I am 😁

Not with one instance of Oneshot, because you can't have two different sample slots assigned to the same midi note. So would need to use two instances of Oneshot with the sample slots both assigned the same midi note. Then if you really want to be fancy send both instances to the same mix buss then sample the combined sound into one wave file to import back into oneshot as a single wave of a massive drum hit.

  • Hi,

Or you could use a midi app to change the note the Linn is sending. But be aware, some sequencers don't like overlapping same pitch. Like beatmaker3.

So I heard back from their support. They said they’re working on an update with batch save and export, but for now you have to save kits and slots as in this video:

I don’t see why the samples can’t just be stored alongside the auv3 instance just like so many other apps. I might be misunderstanding what they mean.

Yes, yes. Quite some time ago. It seems it could be some time, if ever, that there will be an easy way to transfer kits you make between one platform and another. It's a single disappointment for an otherwise top tier app. But it's a big issue for me.

Tis a bit of a disappointment. I wonder if just saving the individual slots is enough. That would probably fit my workflow well. I’m not bothered about creating and saving full kits.

  • How do you get OneShot out of ‘FULLSCREEN’ mode in AUM and does anyone experience lock ups of the UI (Only Using Ochtachron, OneShot and TB Reverb at only 21% DSP)?

Kill the OneShot FX to reduce DSP by a lot. Some take more than others, so it pays to experiment.

Check the AUM help/manual for how to exit full screen mode. There are a couple of alternative settings in AUM, so it depends on your settings.

Really helpful thanks @wim did try Swiping but the setting for Buttons works perfectly

I had to point you to the manual - because I don't know how to do it either. 😂

No worries, like you said it’s just in settings. OneShot just wouldn’t revert to the default view for me. Using the ‘Buttons’ setting works fine. Probably I just used the wrong type of ‘Swipe’ 😂

  • I’m trying to import Slammer Kit (OneShot Expansion Pack) to OneShot on my iPad. Downloaded the pack from Klevgrand website, installed it on my computer, transferred two folders (Factory Presets and Factory Slots) to iCloud, imported presets and slots to my iPad, but I’m getting the “corrupt slots” error when I try to open imported presets. Is it even possible to use these expansion packs on iPad?

I contacted Klevgrand last year about it after getting OneShot they basically said no for IOS.
I don't really blame them, they want you to buy Slammer & Ting.

  • @egobeats said:
Also... there are two free (gift) expansions on the Klevgrand site when you sign in. slammer kit and ting kit.

It's kinda confusing as it says for owners of those apps, but then it says as long as you own oneshot. Just download them (under EXTRAS) to your iCloud and open them in OneShot.

@egobeats, could you elaborate on this? It seems like you managed to install these packs.

  • Is there a way to create folders in the user section of the samples/slots menu? The manual doesn’t say anything and my user collection is starting to get out of hand 😬

Thanks! This works and the 2 expansions are free!

Log in into Klevgrand (10minute mail is fine) and you can download Slammer & Ting plus 2 Fx plugins.

You don't need the serial to install these 2 packs onto IOS.
Start the installer from the Homepage and it will extract the Presets & Slots on your HD:
    Library, Application Support, Klevgrand.

You can import these files (one by one :-( ) into IOS Oneshot then.... Tedious process but it works. After import SAVE it INTO each slot (import alone doesn't save) and then the whole Preset.
All of them are in the User Library.
